Stayed there 4/26/2016 Yucky– My husband chose this Motel 6 based on an online review somewhere that gave it 3.5 stars. Deceit is an understatement! I normally make the motel reservations but he was so proud of his choice I didn’t have the heart to tell him Super 8 motels usually aren’t almost 4stars. We arrived around 11pm that evening and the receptionist was very friendly. Although they didn’t have any rooms with single beds available she could give us a room for persons with disabilities with a single bed if we didn’t mind. We said we didn’t mind and we’re briefly shown a dimly lit room that smelled and looked clean enough considering the $ 69 per night we were paying. Later that evening efore showering I wiped off my nightstand what I thought was crumbs. When I returned and took off my slippers my foot was pricked by something. I looked ldown to find a bunch of toenails on the carpet. I was horrified ! What was worse is I realized I had swept them there with my hand thinking they were crumbs on the nightstand. Gross!!! To make the story shorter the Manager Ms. Patel promised the room would be thoroughly cleaned. When we returned that evening the room still had a couple of toenails on the floor. Ms. Patel was very upset I wanted to change rooms and told me I could not because the room had been cleaned. I told her I took pictures and would be sending them to corporate. She then said she would give me another room but that she felt that I was threatening her and I would not be allowed to book another night. She said I was a complainer and my husband and I should check out in the morning. Aint that something Kicked out of the TOENAILMOTEL !! Did she think it was hurting us?!! There is a somewhat happy ending to the story. I contacted corporate and sent them pics of the toenails. They immediately began investigating the incident. Wyndham Worldwide owns Super 8 motels so they refunded our money and gave us reward points for a future stay at another property.

Room was dirty. Door didn’t close all the way.(It locked, but you can see light from the window around the frame), We felt unsafe just walking to the vending machine. I tried to express my issues with the front desk and they said since I had booked through Priceline, I had to speak with them. ??? I was at their hotel, what would Priceline have to do with that??? I canceled the remainder of my trip and found another hotel. I called Priceline for a refund. Priceline called the hotel and they said since we hadn’t registered a complaint, they would only reimburse for one night. What a screwup. Don’t ever book at this hotel!!!

I don’t usually review hotels/motels, but I find this one a steal, book early for the best prices. They also offer on the spot booking as well, I remember prices being very competitive also for ‘walk-in’ guests, the only thing you risk is their rooms being completely sold out on the day of visit. Naperville is a nice suburb. It’s within driving distance to many outstanding Asian restaurants such as Joy Yee, Korean supermarket etc. Plenty of options for dining and grocery shopping(water, candy, snacks etc). Every room comes equipped with a fridge and microwave, adding to the convenience of getting take out or making some quick meals during your stay. As mentioned the rooms are very reasonably priced for what you get. Being a motel don’t go in expecting 5-star service or facilities. That said they have a small pool(smell of bleach though), but we haven’t used it as we were not around most of the day. Complimentary breakfast is included with your booking. You get the standard make your own waffles, toast, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, juices and the likes. This continental breakfast is more than sufficient to fill you up to start your day, making this choice of stay an even better deal. Parking is included and wifi is free. I have stayed here a couple times now and we like this motel when we are planning chicago/outlet trip. We can easily catch the train to downtown chicago without having to worry about driving in the city of paying for parking, saving us quite a bit of $$ for the trip.

Brought my daughter and her 4 friends here for a swimming/sleepover birthday party. I had read reviews elsewhere and they were great. One review said they had just put in a new pool. I was thinking that’s perfect. Upon arriving I could see the so called pool from the lobby. I did a double, triple, quadruple take because the size of the pool was ¼ of the size of other hotel pools. It literally would have been packed with more then 6 people in it. I had sent the girls up to the room while I checked in. I never made it up there because I asked for my money back. The girls said the room had no room to even walk and the microwave was a turn dial which to them was ancient. lol. The front desk girl was very kind and polite and I did receive a prompt refund.

This place is way better then what I expected. Wow. Customer service is blah but I didn’t really need em so whatever. The room is nicer then other cheap hotels or motels that I been to. The king size bed is firm and comfortable and clean n there was no unsightly stains that the naked eye could see. They had a flat screen TV in the that got more channels then the expensive rooms. There is like a 1980’s mini microwave and crude inside of the room that works and ehhhh is well enough to use. The room is larger then what I expected with mirrors on the closet that sit right across from the bed which allows you to watch yourself as u participate in well hmmmm you figure it out.lol. the sink is not in the same room as the bath room. weird but whatever and the room comes with an ironing board and an iron that lord know I would never put to good use. There is a swimming pool and a jacuzzi insure with a fitness room that only has two equipments. Funny. Overall I have no complaints. For cheap rates this is actually better then what I expected.

The Naperville area is the crown jewel of Chicagoland: there’s nothing you can’t find here. Eateries, boutiques and hotel chains proudly boast Naperville as their first location(or second, after New York or Chicago proper). Even familiar franchises step it up with unique flourishes or prototype models. So there’s no excuse for sub-par mediocrity: you can simply go elsewhere. The room was eccentric, in an adorably hodge-podge way. There were the basics(bed, end tables and chair), the luxuries(small, non-flat-screen, not-HD TV), and the WTF: Full-size refrigerator(not plugged in). Microwave halfhazardly stacked atop said fridge(also not plugged in). And sink in a different room than the toilet and shower. It was almost like a cute attempt to compete with the other hotel chains, at least on a superficial, checklist sort of way. But my problem lies more in the foul, permeating odor that hung around the elevator like the Mist. I half expected my flesh to turn inside-out and wear my skeleton like a suit of armor. It wasn’t exclusive to the first floor either, and no doors can protect you. The staff were all very, very nice. Even when both my room keys didn’t work and I had to go down to get another one. Even when that key didn’t work either and I went down again. And then the maintenance guy brought up every key the hotel had and only one(out of the ten or so) worked. In short: I’m sorry to say that there are dozens of far superior hotels within a five mile radius, some costing less per night.
