Subway

Food was okay. I’ll get that out of the way. It is what was expected.
The one star is for service. Only two people on duty and one person was brand new –so new in fact he didn’t know how to cut bread. He wasn’t shadowing the «asst mgr» on duty or being shadowed by her. This kid definitely needed more training and shouldn’t have been flying solo but the «asst mgr» thought just dump him in the deep end.
I was patient at the start but 25 mins into our visit and mistakes in how he took our order, the bread he grabbed, and how he checked us out– I was done.
Luckily the «asst mgr» came to his rescue –not! If she wasn’t ignoring another customer, she was making snide comments under her breath blaming the customers for our frustrations. All the whole, working sort of slowly IMHO on her sandwiches.
All this over too loud 105.9 djs having a discussion about snakes and Miley singing Wrecking Ball.
I haven’t been to a Subway in years. Came here because my son asked. I will NOT be back.

Not to be punny, but this location is completely *sub*par. The negative experience mostly involved the behavior of the staff and management. The man on staff, Stephen, greeted my entrance with the most condescending attitude. He was making a sandwich, presumably for a call-​ahead order, and kept commenting that he made an error with how much sauce was on it, followed by, «oh well, whatever. It is what it is.» The manager laughed in agreement.
Time to finally help me with my order. The process was slow and frustrating. Anything I said was ignored as the two workers laughed and joked with one another all the while. Time to pay; he announced my total, I pulled out cash and held it out for him, but he was already caught up in another joke. I patiently held the money out. Finally he snatched it from me, retrieved my 6¢ from the cash drawer, and dropped it in my hand as if I was inconveniencing him. I sit down to eat. The manager walks out the front door and lights up a cigarette. Still in her apron, she smokes her cig not 3 feet from the front door. Can’t wait to walk through the cloud of death on my exit.
What do you know. She didn’t even wash her hands after her smoke break. She just walked back in, goes behind the counter, and begins working. GROSS GROSS GROSS

Sandwiches are fine. Huge issues with ths management/​owners and their condescending attitude. They don’t honor Subway or other coupons. In fact, they ridiculed the coupon we got from the ATA school on Reservoir near Quincy. So we took our coupon to the Subway on Quincy and Reservoir, where they honored it.
Silky owner/​manager: you lost a potentially great customer. My brother loves Subway sandwiches.

Use to be Quiznos but few failed attempts at it and now transformed into Subway. Personally prefer the other kind but its here, kinda hidden from Parker Rd and knew it wasn’t busy during lunch like other locations.
Its clean, plenty of seats and you get what you want pretty quickly. Thumbs up!
