Great haircut at a great price! Over the 15 years I’ve been visiting Stew’s I can’t remember a single time I’ve walked away with less than a superb haircut. Everyone there is eager to cater to your needs and I’d recommend this establishment to anyone, whether you’re looking for just a quick haircut or bringing the whole family in for the back-​to-​school season. Dave, the owner, is a pleasure to converse with and obviously takes a lot of pride in his establishment. The walls are covered in antiques and collectibles and it gives the place a relaxed and homey vibe. Definitely check this place out and you won’t be disappointed!

Though I am from out of town, I got the impression that I was in a neighborhood establishment in Stew’s. Nothing about this place suggested it was a part of any chain. The décor reminded me a bit of a TGI Fridays (more charming than hokey tho), the staff was very friendly and chatty, and the prices were very reasonable (sixteen bucks). Overall the haircut was quick and efficient and turned out just how I needed it.
One important thing to keep in mind is that this place is cash or check only. There are some ATMs nearby, but only third party ones that charge a good size fee. Plan ahead.
