First let me preface, this is the first review I have ever left on Unilocal,however I feel very inclined to share my experience so others do not make the same mistake I did.
My husband and I rented a 26′ truck to move us and our 6 year old daughter from Colorado to Oregon. My parents who are in their late 60’s drove the truck while my husband and I each drove our cars. Needless to say, it was a long and hot drive in the month of June. Below are the list of problems we encountered during our trip and after receiving voicemails from Lorenzo (the manager) and Tray (the district manager) they were only able to offer us a $ 50 in store credit. Seriously?! We will never do business with Uhaul again.
— 15 minutes into the 19 hour drive, the truck oil light came on and we had to put 2 quarts of oil in it (Uhaul FAILED to compensate us for the oil)
— The A/​C did not work! My parents suffered a long 19 hour drive without any AC in nearly 100 degree weather while passing through Idaho. (Tray from Uhaul claims the AC works just fine.)
— The headlights did not work and my dad had to use the brights at night, therefore he didn’t have any brights to use at night when he really needed them and had to resort to going 10 miles under the speed limit. (Tray from Uhaul admitted the lights were not wired correctly and Uhaul fixed that before the next customer rented the truck, but no offer to compensate us.)

Great service. Tammi assisted us and was very patient with me. She explained all the paperwork in detail and assisted us with the walk through. Very friendly and personable.
