No flavor in the vegetable Chow Mein what so ever, it was more then half full of what looked like dirty dish water, yuck. The pineapple chicken is just like something I remember making my b/f frozen from the grocery store. They gave me a tub of sweet n sour sauce that was nuked. And a thing of fried chicken chunks that had very dry meat. And a tiny little container of some pineapple bits. Wth!!! Even the sauce tasted off. I usually love the fried rice but today the meat tasted narsty like gamey turkey bits. I gave some to the dog and they literally bounced! My boyfriend wasn’t into his food either. He says the teriyaki sticks are hit and miss, obviously being a miss today. My dog will get his fill of meat today. The only thing that tasted normal was the cookies. And after 70 somethin bucks, we gave a too generous tip as always… this was not worth it. This wasn’t the first time we were let down by this place. I think they have finally lost a few loyal costumers. This place used to be great. We live super close to here. Just too many misses for the overly expensive food that is not high quality. I think I’m done with janky ass Chinese places and might just hit up a Cantonese place instead of crappy expensive Chinese food fried in gloppy sugar sauce. And food you know is high in sodium that still doesn’t taste like much at all.

We live nearby and we get take out frequently. It is one of those good nearest Chinese food. Good food, decent price, fast, good service, what more can you ask for with a neighborhood regular take out place! Love it.

I’ve ordered Chinese food from 5 different restaurants off of grubhub in the Aurora area and none have even come close to expectations. One place had good eggrolls but that’s it. How can 5 restaurants constantly suck at every dish I’ve ordered? Well I received a menu in the mail this weekend from new China hut and I decided to place an order online tonight and I’m glad I did! Even though it was my first order it was damn good! Eggrolls had great flavor inside with just as good dipping sauce. The exterior could use some help. Not sure if they’re frozen for a long time before being fried but regardless I’ll take great flavor over these cabbage and bean sprout bland eggrolls from other restaurants. The generals tso chicken was the best I’ve had out here. Great tangy sticky sauce on crispy breaded chicken. Had great flavor! I’ve had non breaded stir fried chicken with a white sauce called generals tso’s chicken out here. Wtf? I hope other choices are as good as what I ordered tonight. Can’t wait to try it again.

Stopped here with a friend and ordered the walnut shrimp and happy family lunch specials. I hate to say it was the worst chinese food I’ve ever had. Low quality meats, no flavor, and overall just not good. I only write this in hopes that they improve their quality and flavors.

9÷19÷15 This is a updated review and I’m not too happy with this place! I thought it was a good place to get some food in the suburbs but I was proven wrong today… I ordered shrimp fried rice and orange chicken and a side order of the crab Rangoon… I love shrimp fried rice but I will never eat from here again because they do not clean the shrimp properly! I found shrimp in its shell. And shrimp with that little gross black line running down its back… Yuck. You know what that is… I don’t understand why it’s so hard to clean to the food that you want to serve to your customers. I threw that shrimp fried rice out! The orange chicken was bland. The only good thing that came out of this place was my crab Rangoon and that’s why it got a star… I won’t be eating here. I’m sad now. Oh gosh lee what do I eat. Forget it I’m going to bed

For well prepared Chinese classics, New China Hut is great! I’d passed it by for months because it looked so generic, and on a Monday night when my «go to» place was closed, I tried them out. What a pleasant surprise. The menu is huge, service is pretty quick and customizing is encouraged: no MSG, extra heat, etc is welcome. There are some items available that are not on the menu such as their spare ribs; huge, well seasoned but pricey. Everything is fresh and never greasy. The place is very clean, has a few tables for dining in, but I consistently get my order to go or have it delivered. Are there more exotic Chinese options out there… probably, but this is in a strip mall, they deliver and are dependably above average! Try them out! I can vouche for their egg rolls, won tons, Moo Goo Guy Pan, Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s Chicken, all their Lo Meins, and wide variety of noodles.

Been here several times for the lunch special. They will make the food as spicy as you ask for. Friendly service and very clean.

Mixed feelings about our carryout from here: Egg Drop Soup-a little bit bland. We improved it greatly by adding some sesame oil. Plenty of eggs. Needed a bit of salt. Chicken Chop Suey– this was superb! Plenty of bean sprouts, tender chicken. Lots of celery but I like celery. Beef Fried Rice– again, like the soup, a little bland. Had to add soy sauce even tho the color was beautiful dark brown. Spicy Fried Rice– this was very good too, nice flavor. BBQ Pork Egg Foo Yung– the patties were good, but sauce was way off. Thick, clumpy, and SWEET. I think they added sugar as a filler, I hate that. The sauce on this should not be sweet. 3 stars on the strength of the chop suey, if not for that I would have gone with 2 stars only.

Good price for what I would say is far better than average Chinese food in the suburbs. The quantities are pretty large and I always have left overs. I like that you can ask for light oil, salt, corn starch and MSG. They actually have these options in their computer software and don’t seem to mind me asking for this extra care in the preparation of my food. I usually get the Chinese chicken and veg made this way and it’s a tasty and healthy meal. Delivery is very fast too.

When our old stand-by Chinese take out place left, we tried New China Hut1. This is great food without costing an arm and a leg. The portions are big, too. We’ve tried out favorites like egg rolls, beef and broccoli, egg foo young all very good. Even the white RICE is good, which says a lot!

The place may not be fancy, but the food is great. Ben just bought this place 18 months ago, so throw out the old reviews. Since his wife and he both worked at a nearby Chinese restaurant for years, they know what good service means and they will bend over backwards to give you good service and food. We had the Beef Chow Fun(Wet version, not on the menu). You have to ask for it so that it has a more gravy taste. We also had the chicken corn soup which was a huge portion(not a little cup), Fish Fillet with Black Bean sauce(which I never ate before– a little kick to it), It was very good. Also had the vegetable only dish, and tried their Mango Smoothie. Tab was $ 42. Lots of food for two meals. This was my first visit, but I would come back again and try out more dishes. I told them my parents owned a Chinese restaurant for over 45 years and I know how hard it is to run a place, and satisfy people, to give customers good service and good taste, which is king. I noticed there was another empty unit next to his place, if he wanted to expand. He has to grow his customer base, and he should be able to do it. Don;t count on one visit, since you have to know what foods you like, or be willing to try. It is a totally family owned restaurant(his daughter works there, too).

I order from here quite a bit since it is right around the corner from my house and that makes it convenient. This is definitely not the best Chinese food around, it’s okay though. The main problem is that it’s very hit or miss. I always get beef fried rice and sometimes there is a lot of beef and sometimes there is basically no beef. Sometimes they put in MSG and sometimes they don’t. Usually a Chinese restaurant is very consistent, this one is not. It’s not bad if you are close by, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

I was too tired to cook dinner the other night, so ordering in it was! My husband suggested New China Hut since we hadn’t tried it yet and they’re located right around the corner from us. The delivery was speedy, especially with the weather, but honestly the food was just meh. We both agreed we’ve had better. Here’s how our order went: Crabmeat Rangoon(6 for $ 4.95) — the rangoons themselves were pretty large, but they didn’t have enough crab filling which was disappointing. Egg Rolls(2 for $ 2.95) — I didn’t try these, my husband ate them. He said they were just OK. House Special(Pork, Chicken & Shrimp) Chow Fun($ 9.75) — This was my meal and it was HUGE. It honestly could have fed 4 people. I actually liked this noodle dish. The shrimp, pork, chicken and veggies were good and so was the sauce. My only complaint was that it had way too much gravy. House Special(Pork, Chicken, & Shrimp) Fried Rice($ 5.15 for a small) — The hubbie’s meal. This made me look like a big fatty, but lesson learned. He said the fried rice was good, but nothing special. Regardless, he finished his meal. Our total came to $ 32 with tip. I don’t think we’ll be in a rush to order from here again. There’s just no wow factor. Other Unilocalers seem to enjoy it though, so maybe we’ll try a dine in experience at some point.

Not much flavor. Noodles seemed old and were dry. Rice was very bland. Egg rolls were good though

Passable. Fried rice is just that regardless what you want in it. Not much to report. If you want Chinese it will do. My review is slightly more bland than the food

Good quality for Chinese, fried rice seemed to have been either overlooked or it was just very dry. Mongolian beef entrée was great and so was wonton soup. Plus we got a free order of crab rangoon for $ 20 or more purchase.

The food is ok but you get a lot for your buck. The menu is traditionally what you find at any Chinese place. It’s close to my house so it’s a good option. If they expanded their menu to more exotic Chinese food i would eat their food more often.

We order sometimes from here because it’s very close. It’s ok takeout food. Some of the items we ordered in the past are the Kung pao and sesame chickens. Like most Chinese places, there’s a lot of breading but I think there’s even more with them. The salt and pepper shrimp is always a little too salty. Their different fried rices and noodles dishes are ok. We do like the smelt fish. Prices are ok. If your hungry and you need some Chinese food close by, then it’s ok to order from them… that’s primarily when we use them otherwise we go to better places for Chinese.

We have been regulars at this restaurant for awhile now and the food has always been very satisfactory. They recently switched to new owners and I have to give an A+ for service! Very friendly and quick transactions. We love their new honey walnut shrimp, Szechuan string beans, and anything on the healthy veggies menu. The crab rangoons are always fresh, too!

Well, I will say this, the place was certainly jumping on the Saturday night that I visited. However, I don’t think the food is all that remarkable I went with szechuan beef and crab rangoon. The rangoon I would leave. Lots and lots of white onion in the filling, and not cooked up very soft, either. Not my favorite thing. The szechuan beef was fine, just nothing to rave about. Tons of beef, good veggies, but missing a little something in the sauce. The price was right, and the order was up fast, but I think my search continues for a solid«American Chinese» place in the area.
