Very very bad, tasteless food. We order zinger burger it was nothing but Cole slaw in it. Gyros were taste less. Not even salty. Drumsticks were uncooked and smelled bad. Should try chill & grill in lisle. And for Mediterranean try pita ville in Naperville.

Great food, AMAZING service! This was our first time here and we were truly impressed! Definitely coming back soon

Is there an actual Mr. Broast, like a dude waiting to greet you at the door of the restaurant, perhaps in a chicken suit?
I don’t know, because I ordered from here through
: just wings and a biscuit. It did take every minute of the estimated hour for it to get to me, but was still hot upon arrival.
I ordered «wings» (higher on the delivery menu) because I didn’t see the «wingettes» (like drummies, I guess?). It was more food than I needed, and the wingette order is cheaper (obviously), so be aware of this. (If you are on their online ordering menu, you must scroll down much further to see the wingettes.)
Also be aware: for broasted chicken this is spicy! (These are not sauced wings like Buffalo Wild Wings, by the way, but breaded.)
So overall, it wasn’t bad, just not the meal I expected. Next time I’d be more likely to get the regular broasted chicken. They also have burgers, gyros and some other offerings that I wouldn’t have thought of based on the restaurant’s name. So read that menu carefully and then find out if Mr. Broast is the host with the most!

The food here is amazing, delicious and fresh! The prices are fabulous, too.
Zinger Chicken Sandwich $ 6.50 — This sandwich is great and has a little spicy kick to it.
Gyro Sandwich Meal $ 8 — One of the best gyro I’ve ever eaten. The meat was fresh and tasty. The pita was pillowy. The meal comes with fries and a drink.

Got carry out. Chicken was OK but not great. Mac and cheese was disgusting. We had to throw it out.

PERI PERI PLATTER! This place is cheap and honestly for the price, it’s got decent quality food. The fries are fantastic. Although they have takeout, I recommend sitting in and asking for ALL of their homemade sauces (3 total and all of them are legit!). They have great fries, and their wraps and burgers/​lunch specials are (again) a good value.

The wings and biscuits are really really delicious, especially the biscuits, definitely the best I ever had! The ice cream is also tasted so good!

The food was as expected because I eat at the lombard location all the time but the service was absolute crap. I get to the location and its a ghost town I order nobody in the restaurant and the lady says it’ll take 15 min so I was alright with that. But other people walk in 10 minutes after me order and get there food first. THEY HAD AN OVERLAPPING ORDER! so she gives the food that should’ve gone to me, to them. And when I asked about it they said it’ll be right out. IT TOOK ANOTHER 15 MINUTES!!! It took well over half an hour for something that should’ve taken 10 minutes. After that I reordered another burger for home and she was rude. All in all I debated whether or not to steal money from the tip jar.

Just okay. I think the Zinger burger is overrated or they just mess it up here. I barely tasted the sauce and parts of my sandwich were very dry. The fries are not as good as the other locations. Actually, the fries are pretty bad here.
The gyros was average, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t extraordinary. It was good enough to fill me up, but it’s not something I’d go out of the way before.
My favorite was the bun kabob. They add a desi style omelet right above the kabob which I really liked. However, they call it bun kabob but it tastes more like shami. For those who don’t know what that is, it’s beef and more «mushier» then a kabob.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the great taste of the broasted chicken. It’s very juicy, yet with a crispy crunch! Upon receiving my order, I almost couldn’t make it the 15mins home before I dug in! It smelled soooo good! The wait is about 20 mins per order so I’d suggest ordering ahead.
Had it on Wed & back on Friday! I may never eat regular fried chicken again!

It was my first time at Mr. Broast and it was so good! The staff was very personable and the food was excellent! The recipe they use for the biscuits is so unique and addicting.

Ordered some food for delivery. Was timely delivered. The zinger burger was excellent. Perfectly cooked chicken. We also had a mix of peri peri chicken and Philly steak platter. Liked the steak mix better of the two. This platter is extremely spicy. Had some baked chicken wins, which were good as well. Will order from here again. Worth a try if convenient for you.

I’m glad this location is all the way in Aurora, cause the Zinger Burger is my kryptonite, y’all. The Zinger Burger tastes just like how fireworks look. Slightly dangerous but wowee so amazing. Yeah, I said «wowee.» Deal with it.
Somehow they managed to have the juiciest chicken breast ever. It’s all fried and spicy and laid out on a soft sesame seed bun. But oh wait! Then they add this crazy sauce that’s like mayo but with the flavor and crunch of giardiniera! The fries have perfect crunch and spice to them as well. Basically they are the perfect couple now that Bennifer is over.
As far as service, I ordered over the phone and picked the order up. The food was obviously freshly made, so I’d expect that if I just ordered at the counter, there’d be a wait. Totes worth it.

Wow! That was delicious. The food was fast and hot. The fries were amazing. The price was reasonable and the place was quiet. I will definitely eat here again.

I really hate writing bad reviews. I’m glad is not one.
Ordered: the fried shrimp was the bomb. They were huge. I was expecting them to be the typical lame but trustworthy shrimp you get from anywhere else. They were not. If you ever tried Chicagoland infamous Lawrence’s shrimp or goose island shrimp –then you will like these. I like the batter better with mr. Broast. I do have a drawback. I’m wondering since they didn’t show up like the typical fried trustworthy shrimp-​did I give them to much credit. I’ll order again to let you know. Lol
Fried cat fish: EXCELLENT AND HUGE (trust my review with this one) no flaky batter. The fish tasted clean and really fresh. Will order more soon. 3 pieces doesn’t sound like a lot but the fillets are so big, you will have left overs.
Broasted chicken: my family says it’s great. I wouldn’t know because they make it tooooooo spicy and I can’t eat spicy. They don’t have a non spicy option and this’s why they are receiving 4 stars from me. It’s stupid. Not everyone eat spicy food. It’s silly to believe that «spicy» s the majority vote.
Fries: tooooooooo spicy. Ate one and almost had to go to hospital.
The spicy food is even to spicy for my family members who eat spicy.
Gyro: I must say I have never ever ever had a gyro like there’s. I love gyros.
So when there gyro popped up-​It was looking shady. I didn’t know what meat they were trying to serve me. The texture was crazy soft. Dude-​hat gyro almost got tossed. I turned it into a science project. I had it laid out and inspecting it like forensics. I just don’t eat anything.
So my husband gets annoyed and takes the meat to taste. He def thought it was lamb. So I assembled it back together (lettuce/​tomato/​diced onion). I was going in folks… THE BEST GYRO EVER. The pita was soft. The gyro meat was really tender tender tender. The set back-​the sauce they say is tziki
Sauce tastes like mayo. I ordered the gyro again and requested that to be taken off.

It’s a decent local Z joint.

This is a difficult review to write… I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the chance about a week ago. It’s a small chicken place in a strip mall, a few tables, but it is mainly carryout. The person who took my order was very friendly and the prices were about on par with this type of establishment. I ordered the Zinger Chicken Sandwich, which is what they are known for. Please be aware this is not fast food, I waited about 10 – 15 minutes for my food to be ready. The food was good quality and cooked just right, but here is where my review dilemma starts, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. The zinger sauce was disgusting and the zinger fries were just okay (like Arby’s curly fries without the curl). Now, I will admit that I’m a VERY picky eater, so that shouldn’t dissuade from trying the place, it just wasn’t for me.

The service keeps getting better over time. The food is awesome. I haven’t seen any desi restaurant in the area improve. Maybe they’re reading the Unilocal!Reviews?

Service is really improving… To be specific— it’s hit or miss on Sevice in the past… There is one guy always give awesome Sevice and another one who didn’t… The one who didn’t …seems to give better service now…
In short stop reading my post and go order from them!

My wife and I ordered from here through grubhub. Finally, a place that wasn’t chinese or pizza! We got the family deal which was 8 pieces of chicken, 2 sides, and 4 biscuits. Delivery took about an hour, which is usually what you can expect ordering from grubhub. The food was fantastic. Who knew delivery fried chicken could be so good?!
The chicken was fried a nice golden brown and had very bold flavor. It had a good kick of spice and the meat was juicy. For the sides we just got their fries. Delicious. They give you enough fries to feed an army. They are seasoned similar to the chicken. But the biscuits!!! So buttery and melt in your mouth fantastic. I think it was the most devastating part of my entire day when I had realized there were no more. Not bad for a moderately priced delivered meal!
