Mac Cosmetics at Macy’s

Westfield Shopping Center may not have anything on Michigan Ave or hell, even Oakbrook… but this MAC counter is second to none!
I tend to visit this counter and it’s like: «Heyyyyyy…Erin, Marissa, Rachel and Deedee»!! Those are just a fave of my fave MUAs at MAC in this Macy’s.
What, so maybe I see them a little more than I should considering that they work there and I just shop there compulsively. But I have needs and they live in sleek black packages emblazoned with stark white lettering: MAC.
MAC:cosmetics as vodka: alcohol or NYE: holidays. Top shit.
If you go here, it may take a while to get assistance on a weekend, but once you are helped, it is full on attention from that point forward. And these girls know what they’re talking about. From dramatic hooded eyes and bold lips to everyday looks, they’ve got you beyond covered. One teeny tiny bummer is that only free standing MAC stores carry certain products (such as Smut eyeshadow).
I could care less about that minor detail because this place rockkkks. Sometimes they have events for collection launches and you can always make an appointment to get your makeup did for special occasions.

I LOVE MAC! I can’t live without their foundation, blush, and waterproof eyeliner. I go to work with only eyeliner and mascara but when I get all dolled up these are the essential ingredients from there.
For 50 dollars you can make an appointment to get your makeup done and you get to purchase that much worth of makeup. MAC is not only popular and used by celebrities (like Kim Kardashian and I personally love the way she does her makeup) but it’s found everywhere… so you get familiar with the brushes and their shades. I usually switch up my lipgloss and blush twice a year (winter and summer). This is the stop! It’s not as expensive as Lancome and it’s not Covergirl price at Walgreens either.
