Maybe the worst plastic surgeon around. After his third attempt at my breast Aug mine look terrible.$ 12,000 later they are worse than ever. Dr does not honestly care about his patients. Spends little time with them during consults. Stay away from this Doctor. I will never recommend him to anyone. PS. Areola reshaping looks like a 3^rd grader did it. Total hack. I give a zero but it won’t let me.

An excellent plastic surgeon should be compassionate. I chickened out on a second surgery to correct the first one that Dr Serota performed on me a year earlier. Rather than reassuring me or allowing me to wait, he felt it necessary to keep a $ 200 deposit AFTER I had already paid him over $ 8000. For the 1^st surgery. When I decided I wouldn’t be going back at all, ever, he would not release my medical records without a $ 25. fee. When dealing with such an expensive and emotional decision please select not only a board certified plastic surgeon, which Dr Serota is, but a caring and compassionate one as well. Plastic surgery can take an emotional toll, especially when it doesn’t turn out like you hoped it would. I hope this is helpful. I look great because I decided to really crack down on diet and exercise, although after the liposuction that Dr. Serota performed on my legs I am very self conscious about the dimples in my upper legs due to muscle tissue being sucked out as well as fat, as well as some unevenness in my legs (one is bigger than the other) I also have a small chunk of fat that he forgot to take off of my right hip. It has taken me 5 years to want to write a review. I didn’t want to write and angry review just a factual one. This doctor and his team were very nice until things didn’t go their way. I have received consultations on getting these items fixed although it would be fat transfer and drainage tubes and about $ 10,000. Not to mention recovery time. I hope this review is helpful.

Dr. Serota is a TERRIBLE surgeon and does only what he feels like doing to you! He does not LISTEN to what the patient wants. He made my saggy breasts even worse by making me a DD by implanting 480cc’s when I asked for 280cc’s! He promised me a perky breast by performing a Benelli (areola) lift when I needed a full mastopexy lift! This areola lift made my breasts mishaped looking like 90 year old grandma boobs and the botched pockets on my monsterous implants made them fall into my armpits when I’d lay on my back! After repeatedly asking him when my breast would perk, all he would do is charge me another $ 8000 to fix it. No thank you! Horrible, horrible surgeon! Be warned and stay away!

He and his staff are super friendly however they are all about money not quality.
My breast look hideous after his surgery. If he offers you an areola lift. Please refuse. It will only distort the way your breast look and will not give the appearance that your breast are lifted. Plus its a waste of money.
I’m sure he would do just fine on a simple breast augmentation.
I would not recommend my friends to him.

I did not have surgery with Dr. Serota, but I did have a consult. A consult in which he mostly directed his attention to my husband and not to me… the potential patient? I felt like he cared more about his preferences than mine. So I found another terrific surgeon that treated ME like I had a brain. I just thought he was behaving in a pretty sexist manner. I brought my husband in to support me. Not to negotiate my breast size with the the doctor.
