James Walker’s Bushido Academy of Karate

I have learned that the old expression «you get what you pay for» also applies to Karate lessons. 5 years ago I found what I thought was a great deal in lessons for my 9 year old, but I quickly realized that my son wasn’t learning much and nobody at that other place cared. I have had the opposite experience at James Walker’s Bushido Academy. Mr. Walker has demonstrated that it is his mission to equip people with the skills to defend themselves and he cares about his students. My once shy and soft spoken son has grown into a confident young man that can defend himself. I have Mr. Walker’s program to thank for my son’s growth in character and accomplishment. The other day some kid at my son’s school threw a punch to hit him. My son blocked and counter punched that kid utilizing the skills that he learned at Mr. Walker’s school. His lessons had become so ingrained that he did this without thought or hesitation… it had become instinct. As a parent, I am thrilled and I count this school as one of the best investments that I have made for my child. I can’t wait until my daughter is old enough to train at this school.

If I could give no stars I would. I have not one good thing to say about Mr Walker or his school. Over priced for what you receive and constantly pushed to spend more.
