By far the WORST manicure I have ever received. The lines on the French manicure weren’t straight, she only did one coat and the shellac chipped and peeled off after a week. I left with shellac on my skin and cuticles and a feeling that I just wasted money and time. For a $ 50.00 manicure(which they don’t state that the French is an extra 10 bucks on the website, they wait till you are done and hit you with the upcharge) I expect at least 2 coats, ample time under the light and for it to last 2 – 3 weeks if not more. I will say the manager was very accommodating to my issues and saw how poorly my nails were done. But there was no really no way to salvage the hight level of incompetence of the manicurist. I will not be going back.

I have been to this salon and have seen several stylists. They have all been very good but for the first time I had Christina today. She was friendly, listened well, cut fast and produced great results. I absolutely love my haircut and will definitely return to her!

Today was my third time at Heads Up. The salon itself is very nice, clean and upscale, and it’s in Southlands so it’s convenient. I saw Kristie each time, twice for color/cut and once just a cut. She’s a color magician and I absolutely love my cut, too. I plan to schedule a massage soon, so I’ll update this review afterward, but I have no reservations at all about recommending Kristie if you need a haircut or color. You won’t be disappointed!

I just went to Heads Up for the first time for a cut today, and it was the best haircut I’ve had in a very long time! I had Macy as my stylist, and she was super nice, and clearly understood my hair type and what style would look best. I really love my cut, and I’ll definitely be back.

I moved to CO and had to leave my beloved stylist behind. I found a hair stylist near by and walked out a few hours later with my eyes filled with tears. I spent the next few months wearing my hair in a ponytail and under a hat trying to hide the stylist’s mistakes. My sister in law recommended Heads Up and specifically Nani. The first time I went Nani talked me through how she was going to fix my hair. It took many visits to have hair that I was proud of again. That was three years ago and I would not go anywhere else but Heads Up. I adore Nani and her staff makes me feel welcome and more like a member of the family than just some client who comes in every few months. Rachael at the front desk has great energy and I have recently began seeing Julia for micro derms and facials — she does amazing work and explains what she is doing and why. I have had great results because of her. If you want an amazing experience I highly recommend Heads Up… You will feel pampered and well taken care of.

I followed Susan from her last salon. I love this place. If you’re looking for a great look give her a call. The prices are similar to other salons in the area. This isn’t cost cutters, so it’s not super cheap. But it’s well worth the money.

Set up my wife and her friend for mani /pedi They arrived and were told they don’t do acrylic then they were scolded for using acrylic. They could have told me that they ha an alternative way of doing nails. Pretty much spoiled my surprise for my wife.

Just went here for the first time today and let me tell you… I will definitely be back! My appointment was with Jaci. She was great! I wanted to get a partial highlight, since my previous one had grown out. She talked to me about doing some beigy-blonde medium highlights so that they mixed in with my natural hair color. We chit-chatted while she did my foils and then took me to a separate room where the dryers were so I could«bake» for a few. After rinsing out all the color she asked what I was looking to do for my hair cut. I hadn’t really planned on cutting my hair too, but why not? So I asked her to add a few more layers to the back and shorten the layers around my face. That being done, she round brushed and blow-dried my hair. It came out wonderful! Next time I need to treat my self to a little girly beauty time I’l be back to see Jaci!

I moved to the area and needed a new salon, for haircut services. This place. Was a convenient location, so I tried it. I have been there 3 times, each time with a different stylist because the previous one no longer worked there. I was never happy with my cut. The last time I was asked to pay the stylist in the chair instead of at the front desk. I was uncomfortable with this. I am currently looking for a different salon in the area. I prefer to have the same stylist each time so I know what I am getting, and don’t want to pay salon prices to feel like I am buying a counterfeit haircut in an alley.

I came here a couple times and found a really great stylist(who I’ve since followed to another salon). The site here is good. Great location and looks upscale. I never tried any of their other services than the haircut, however. The 3rd time I came they really messed up my appointment and I ended up having to come back another day. Then they messed up that appointment and asked me to come in 30 minutes later. When I did they said my stylist wasn’t available and wanted me to make yet another appointment. And weren’t very apologetic about it. When i finally got to my stylist she said this had been happening to her a lot lately. I hadn’t had any problems with them until this, but would have sucked it up cause I like my stylist, but then she moved on to somewhere else so now I don’t have to deal anymore!

I absolutely love this salon. I have been to 3 different stylists and all are fantastic. Tina is my go to girl however. She is always personable and knows exactly how to make my hair look phenomenal every time. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Went there with Spa Finder cards with my boyfriend. I was getting a pedicure and eyebrow wax, he was scheduled for a Men’s facial. It was snowing so he dropped me off and parked. When I walked in my technician was ready for me so I went back to the pedicure booths and assumed he’d head in for his treatment in a minute or two. The pedicure station was very lovely. Not your standard vibrating chairs, and would be a nice place to go with a friend for side by side pedicures. The tech was very nice, but seemed a bit new. Nonetheless she did a great job. When I walked out, my boyfriend was already in the lobby and I was surprised that he was finished already. Then he explained that he hadn’t even been back yet. WHAT? We had appointments at the same time. And his was 40 minutes late. We sat and chatted while my toes dried and finally at a full hour late, the esthetician took him to the room. The same woman was supposed to also do my eyebrow wax, so I had decided that we would skip that. I mean we were to have dinner afterward and now we were delayed by an hour. Thankfully, the tech who did my pedicure offered to wax my eyebrows, and they turned out fine, and it was one of the most gentle and comfortable waxes I’ve ever had. Finally my boyfriend emerged and seemed pleased with the facial, but was pretty ticked off by the wait. In fact, he was ready to leave and had I not been in getting my pedicure, I’m sure he would have. The receptionist was either shy, depressed or hipper than thou and I found it like pulling teeth to get much communication out of him. He also offered NOTHING by way of apology for our inconvenience. I would have expected a sincere apology, but his lack of concern about the situation made me think it’snot unusual for them to run an hour behind. I’ll give them another shot, because I liked my technician, but if we get stuck in the black hole of waiting again, that will be it.
