Always have loved the food and price, but, just so you know… Every time I order wonton soup, it comes with a quarter head of iceberg lettuce in it(large 32 oz soup). By the time you remove the lettuce, you have 5 wontons and 16 oz of soup left. Recommend to order without lettuce and don’t let them tell you it’s cabbage.

I’m a fan– I recommend the«family meal» which gives a TON of food for only $ 30. The service was extremely fast and friendly. Everything we had was delicious especially the hot sour soup. There’s also usually good coupons(ie free appetizer) available.

I like this little restaurant, but everything here is different. Its not at all what I expected. The egg rolls are larger than average, and they are tasty. I had the Pad Thai(pud thai according to the menu), it was good, filled with shrimp and chicken, and tasted nothing like pad thai. The mongolian beef was a little salty, but good. The service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant could use a bit of cleaning. The walks looked more stained than unclean, but either way… not great.

My wife and I walked in at dinner time and there was NOONE in the restaurant. We thought that maybe we were really early and just decided to give this place a try. Long story short the service was SLOW. There seemed to be only one older lady working as the host and server and she was very pushy. When the food came out it looked amazing, however was sub par to any Vietnamese and Thai food we have ever had. Neither meals sat very well on our stomach after we left. Also the walls were dirty and décor was out dated. Will not be returning.

A little too expensive when it comes to the food taste and for an Asian Food restaurant. The Pad Thai Noodle was too ordinary. I think I can make a noodles like that on my own. No special flavor, nothing special about it and the most baddest thing about it was its too expensive. I think I can make a noodle like that with just $ 1 or $ 2. Yeah, you hear me right.

I have ordered their take out numerous times and have always been very satisfied. Last night I dined in and was surprised to see the dirtiness of the place. Their were stains on the walls and cloth booth seats. The food was still tasty but it had me wondering what the kitchen looked like. Little scary. I did feel kind of bad cause the older lady who served us who I think was also the owner looked very tired. She was still very friendly and did a great job. I think if the place was a little cleaner I would have given them 4 stars.

A friend brought me here early in the morning. We ordered scrambled egg and pancakes. I noticed the poor service here, orders are delayed over 30mins. Do they even care if their customer died from hunger because of their waiting time? Would never allow my self to be in this place again. I can pay a few bucks for a good service and that’s a fact!

I was pleasantly surprised. Went here for a mother daughter outing with a group of moms and daughters about 17 of us. Had previously read the reviews so I was a little worried. Being a New Yorker I am very hard on restaurants period. We dined in and everyone ordered different dishes. I sampled several of the dishes and was not disappointed and neither were my companions some of whom are very picky eaters. Dining in may be the way to go here. Service was good and friendly, she even noticed we were pryaing and was respectful. Nice portions for the money and flavorful, had enough to take home to the hubby and teenage son. Refills are not free which was our only gripe. Bathroom was old but clean something I like to see in restaurants; hole in the wall or not. Needless to say, glad we went and we will all go back again.

Egg roll was fantastic. Service was great and timely. Food was mediocre at best. Worst fried rice I’ve ever had.

We ordered delivery Mongolian Beef, Egg Rolls, Soup, Satay Chicken. We paid $ 11.50 for the Mongolian Beef and there was 2 tiny pieces of beef in there and a ton of vegetables. If we wanted Vegetables we would have ordered vegetables. I called them after discovering this and the lady on the phone pretended she now didn’t speak English and there was no manager on duty. I asked her for a credit and she said no. The previous time we ordered they said they ran out of Egg rolls still charged us for them and said they would give us free ones next time, but of course with this order they didn’t remember that. So I told the lady I would come down to the restaurant with the vegetables to get a refund.(Which completely defeats the purpose of getting delivery and tipping the driver.) When we showed up she started laughing and telling me that beef costs $ 7.50 a pound and they can only afford to give each person a few pieces. If I’m paying $ 11.50 for this seems like there should be at least 1 pound of beef and the rest vegetables, considering $ 7.50 worth of vegetables could fill and entire grocery bag and them some. The lady would not give me my money back until I threatened to leave a bad review on Unilocal! Then of course she was willing to give me my money back. We will never order from them again terrible food and even worse service!!! Beware!

I dropped by the other day to grab a quick lunch. This was during the week and I was the only customer in the place. After a half an hour, there was one other table of people, and a couple folks had done take out. The place was clean and the service was fine. The food was okay. I went with the lunch special Mongolian Beef with steamed rice, and egg roll, and the hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was rather gelatinous, but the flavor was good. The egg roll was goodly sized and had decent flavor. The rice was fine. The Mongolian Beef had snow peas in it, which is not a standard Mongolian veggie, but it was not off-putting to me(like if they had put in a bunch of celery). The flavor of the Mongolian beef was a touch salty, and the flavor was not quite what I expected, but it was not bad. All in all, this was C+ Chinese food.

If you follow any of my reviews, you may be aware that I am perpetually on the hunt for decent Asian food, especially for those Friday nights when I want to bring something tasty home to curl up on the couch with. I search and I search and I search and I continue to search. In the meantime, we’ve stumbled across this little hole-in-the-wall in a shopping center off Buckley & Quincy road in Aurora. As far as Americanized Chinese food goes, this is a solid«B.» Avoid the soups here. Eggrolls are okay as are the crab-cheese wontons. Fried rice & lo mein was very disappointing but they do okay with the Mongolian beef & Kung Pao chicken sort of dishes. They’ll cook your food up fresh & hot here — don’t order ahead of time or it will be cold by the time you pick it up. It only takes them a few minutes to cook up your take-out here so order when you arrive. Decent, but I still remain on the quest…

They messed up sweet and sour chicken. The meal was mostly breading with little meat. The rice was the worst fried rice I’ve had. I could hear the microwave open and shut at least 4 times during our wait and we were the only ones there

Pretty decent and fast. I hear for this area it’s great. The place was empty minus us and one other couple. The restaurant looks like a blast out of the 80s — that weird plum pink and white metal chairs.

So out shopping was in a asian food mood. I wanted Thai and my man wanted chinese. We found this place across the street from a Thai place. Their sign said chinese vietnamese and thai food. They also had some sign up about top 100 food. Saturday night place was empty, this should have been our alarm to run and leave. But we thought eh try it out, see if its as good as their Top 100 said. 2nd alarm was the worker said«you get togo?» almost a question but almost a command. She seated us and we looked over. Typical menu, lots of choices, kinda pricey. I ordered hot and sour soup, crab cheese wontons, and pud thai. My man had kung pao chicken. Food was served very fast, however the highlight of dinner was the crab cheese wontons. All our food with exception of wontons tasted like it was missing something. A spice, a herb, something. Almost bland in the spice dept, or a dull comparison to the food we usually get. We ate about 50% of our food because it just wasnt that great. Check mark not coming here ever again. Blah food and blah service.

So my girlfriend and I were in the parking lot and we were hungry… We both agreed that some Chinese food would hit the spot and were up for trying a new joint. Egg Roll King East was the place we walked into. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately after. They asked if we prefer a booth or table(nice gesture I think). Drink orders were taken and we started to look over the menu. We noticed right away we were the only people sitting down in the restaurant to eat dinner. However over the course of our meal there was a steady string of people coming and going for take out. Their menu has a mix of Thai cuisine, Chinese and some Vietnamese dishes. A good selection with prices right in line with what to expect. We opted to stick with Chinese and ordered the family dinner for two. Choice of soup, a couple egg rolls, a few cream cheese won-tons, and choice of two entrees. I went with the twice cooked pork, my girl ordered up combination lo mien. The egg drop soup was just OK, pretty thick and sorta bland… The egg rolls and won-tons were awesome! I guess they at least live up to their name! The entrees were good, but nothing spectacular. I think the twice cooked pork was much better than the lo mein. Only two shrimp in the whole dish of lo mein and it seemed more like spaghetti noodles than lo mein noodles. Quality of food was good, everything was fresh and served steaming hot. Overall service was excellent and the price was OK for dinner.
