Christa’s Café and Antiques was an unexpected highlight to our Aurora antique trip. Friendly proprietors and delicious homemade soups and sandwiches. This will be our regular stop from now on.

I’m rounding up but I would give it a 3.5 star experience. Service was 4⁄5 but food was more like 3⁄5. I tried their special sandwich which was a nice blend of cranberry, cream cheese and turkey. Although the bread was dry. The chips were nothing special, maybe they could expand the options here. I wish there would have been another option for soup. All in all, not bad for a small place in a small town.

Great spot for soup, sandwiches and a piece of pie. Run by a very nice couple. They are located In a small antique store in downtown Aurora. We’ve been going there for years and they have yet to disappoint. They even make me an old fashion chocolate ice cream soda, which has never been on their menu. In season be sure and try their berry pies.
