Truly perplexed by all of the 5 star reviews. My wife and I recently visited and did not have a good experience. Upon arriving at the counter to place an order we noticed the kid taking orders give someone a free bottle of water to make up for some issue with their order or perhaps a long wait which should have been a warning sign but we decided to try it anyways. We ordered the chicken biryani combo along with the lamb paratha rolls. It took about 15 minutes to get our food. The chicken biryani was extremely salty as were the masala fries that came with the lamb rolls. The chicken tikka kabob that came with the biryani combo was good however. The lamb rolls were not like the rolls in the photo added on this page. Instead it was lamb patties with lettuce, tomatoe, onions, wrapped in a naan which tasted OK. I hope they can improve over time.

Here is what I texted my wife just after eating here for the first time: I have a VERY special treat for you. Stopped at the mall. Found AMAZING Indian cuisine place in the food court. In the food court!!! Bringing you Butter Chicken and veggie fritters. Spent awhile chatting with the owner. Great guy. She was thrilled! Great food. Highly recommended.

Ok, I keep coming back to try things and it is hard to get past the butter chicken, but now I do have another craving. You have to try the«fish fry.» I know it has a boring name and it makes you think breaded and fried like so many other places on Fridays, but this is something special. It should have a name like«Bombay spice encrusted fish.» It is spicy and multidimensional with bold flavors. It makes me sweat, but I can’t stop. Get the side of cumin rice as a buffer. Be careful, you might become addicted. Oh, and don’t forget the naan.

I know it’s in a food court, but this is a really great place. I’ve tried most of the items. Personal favorite is the lamb kabob burger. They have a great tasting sauce on it and the spicy fries put it over the top. Also the lamb appetizer is fantastically flavorful. Ditto on the Manchurian chicken. None are found at any of the many Indian restaurants in the Naperville area. This is makes the trip to the mall actually a good idea. It’s not fast food so don’t be disappointed if you wait 5 minutes, well worth it.

Delicious food at a great value. This place is an awesome addition to the food selection in the mall. The favors were on point the service was great. Will definitely be stopping back in the future for more. Great choice if you are bored with the same olé fast food type selections.

So now that Bombay Kabob has more people working. The service is faster. They’re also cooking it fresh. Butter chicken and naan are AMAZING! My sons love the burgers and masala fries too

Me and a couple of friends were at the mall and decided to grab a bite. We were going to pita pit but noticed this new Indian food spot, and they were handing out samples. My friends never had Indian food before and loved the butter chicken sample! I have to say, I have been eatting indian food for years and this very well may be the best butter chicken I’ve ever had! We got the combo plates which came with tikki chicken, butter chicken, rice and nann for about 7 bucks! Amazing food, extremely fair price! Highly recommend to anybody, especially if you’ve never tried Indian food before… they have some awesome entry level ideas to Indian, like«burgers» and pizza! I will be a long time customer!

I can’t believe this came from a mall food court. The food was hot, tasty, and and prepared fresh. As we ordered the chef came from the kitchen with a sizzling skillet full of chicken masala. Amit was a friendly engaging server who made sure we were happy. We had the butter chicken which was amazing. Their naan was tasty and well prepared and the aloo tikka came with fresh tomato and onions. The prices were excellent and the flavor was good enough to buy an extra entrée to take home. We took our family back to try today. They loved it!

It’s weird to be giving five stars for a food court place but this is very flavorful food at a reasonable price with friendly, helpful service. It’s our new regular stop when at Fox Valley Mall.

I didn’t expect much from an Indian place in the mall, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The food is great. Great flavor, not greasy and perfect level of spice. I find their butter chicken to be better than most Indian restaurants in the area. The best part is the great naan. Many restaurants in the area have stiff, dry and disappointing naan, this place had excellent naan. I have also now gone to the mall just to pick up food from there as take out. They do catering as well. Definitely try it.

I wanted to try something new and noticed this place. Tried it and I couldn’t be happier. The quality of the food is awsome in contrary to what others say. I didn’t order off of the appetizer menu as I would never go to Texas roadhouse and review them on how their peanuts were displayed. The food is fantastic and was a very pleased suprise. Spicy but good. The owner is super down to earth and very nice. He told me to try the lamb burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had. Very different from any other burger and I think that’s why I loved it. GETTHELAMBBURGER!

This is good Indian food. We tried the combo with butter chicken and tandoori chicken based on their recommendation. Naan was soft and rice tasted pretty good too. All for 6.99, you cannot beat that. Would most definitely visit again.

Excellent. Tandoori paneer and chicken masala combo platter was full of flavor and you get a great portion for only $ 6.99. Easily the best place to get food in the mall.

kabobs at #bombaykabobs #foxvalleymall. They might have cooked well and increase the quantity for the price of the appetizer. The food tasted average, not bad. Did not try the main entrees but they didn’t look too appealing! This might the 4th Indian food place in the food court in last several years, hope they increase the standards, quality and quantity and succeed

My husband and I tried this place yesterday for lunch and were blown away! We got the butter chicken entrée and the chicken masala entrée with a side of naan each and they were easily the best versions of these dishes we have ever tried! The entrees were served piping hot and were super flavorful. The staff is very friendly as well. We will definitely be coming back again and again.
