Biker Jim’s

YUM! What can I say? There is always a decent line when they are outside of the bx and my heart leaps with joy when I see the umbrella that signals his presence before I have even parked! Love that the dogs are completely farm raised and organic.

Biker Jim’s has been on my list to check out for a few years now and so I was quite surprised when I walked by and smelled the beautiful aroma of gourmet, wild game hot dogs. I was going to make the trek downtown to visit, but this discovery has saved me from having to make the trip.
I had the wild boar and the southwest buffalo. The boar had a great flavor to it but the guy running the stand told me after I finished that the bbq sauce works best with it… still, I think it was perfectly fine without it. The buffalo was delicious and had a nice little kick to it. Of course, both were topped off with the caramelized onions and ohhhh, that cream cheese!!! Omg, who would have thought that soft cream cheese would make the difference! What’s great about this cart is they put it on for free! Another score for saving me money and time driving to Denver!
I’m pretty sure I will back at least one more time before I have to go back home out West. I’ll probably try the elk next. I just wish they sold the cilantro duck.
If you’re not associated with the military then you won’t be able to get on to Buckley to enjoy this… but if you’re military or retired military, come and enjoy this gem!
