I really need to spend more time here. The place is nice and clean, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is plentiful. I like the TVs on the cardio equiment as well as the plug ins for phones and ipods. It can be very busy at times, so I like to go about an hour before closing when the crowd is thin. I havent really explored the Y, other than the main ballroom of weights and cardio. I will send updates if I can ever get past the first room.
There are basketball courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a crossfit room…
They provide small towels at no charge and they are fresh and clean. The price is right for all of the services they provide and it’s close to home and convenient.

I literally went to this gym just to squat and run. They only have one olympic squat rack. But they do have a pretty neat 1⁄12 mile track upstairs. They had a ton of machines and cardio equipment but I’ve been to much better YMCAs.

Whenever I visit my family in Augusta (1 week+), and want to work out, I go to the YMCA. It’s cheap, has a pool, track for walking and many workout machines to choose from. I feel that it is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
