The Loft of Augusta

Awesome place. Been going here for a while, everyone is extremely friendly and awesome people.

Great bar with live music on Friday’s at least. Cheap drinks and a big crowd. The bar gets kinda cramped but it opens up in the back, nice place and clean with great bartenders and drink deals. Between my friend and I we had around 14 drinks for around $ 30 – 40. The band they had was great and played their own music and covers of whatever they felt like from Royals to Hotel California in a kinda punk/​grunge style.

Clean interior, new pool tables, live music on weekends, karaōke weekdays, loved this place for my few weeks in town.

This place was actually pretty fun. The cab driver dropped us off here and we thought it was actually The Bar on Broad. We ended up hanging out here all night. We went on a Thursday night and they had karaōke. There was this girl who was absolutely hammered slurring through some songs, and then later that night, was falling all over the place. VERY entertaining. It got a little busier around midnight. I feel bad because in my drunkenness I was standing at the bar and knocked a couple of bottles behind the bar where they broke. The bartender was PISSED, but I didn’t get kicked out, so that was nice. When the bar closed my buddy and I waited outside as people started pouring out of the bar. There was almost a fight between a couple of older black ladies. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. I’m not sure if we lucked out or not but we will definitely check this place out again.
