Joseph Simpson and Mike were true professionals. They showed up on time, started working right away, and continued on through the grueling heat for about 8 hours until all our windows and shutters were in place. They went above and beyond by adjusting by hand the capping on the new windows so it would match our color scheme. They walked us through the whole process and were very respectful of our house and property. We most definitely recommend Southern Siding, our experience was excellent beginning to end.

$ 2000 I wish I could get back… Their sales rep CJ came to my house for an estimate on replacing my gutters for their leaf-guard gutters(I don’t recall their patented name). Since my gutters were rusted and terrible and I was listing my house to sell, I decided to use them to update my gutters as an extra sales incentive in this current soft housing market. They gave me a date that they would come to do the gutters, on a Tuesday, so I worked with my realtor to have an open house the following weekend, along with a couple of showings. That was how the nightmare began… Upon coming home on Wednesday after a 24 hour shift, I noticed that only part of the gutters had been fixed, but the front rusty gutters that were simply to be removed were still in place and part of the gutters were removed but not replaced(leaving a horrible incomplete look). I called that day and CJ said he would find out what happened. 2 days later after no results, I called 2 times again, and he finally said nothing would be fixed over the weekend, in spite of my plans for the open house and showings, of which he was already aware. He told me not to call the office, and he would make sure it would get fixed and we would get us a deal for our troubles. Midway through the next week nothing was done and no word from CJ in spite of multiple additional calls, so I went to the office where the office manager stated she knew nothing of my project. After almost an hour, it was determined that the gutter installers had decided that there was too much damage to the fascia boards to complete the job, but no one had passed that on to the office manager or, more importantly, ME, the CUSTOMER! Had I not gone to the office in person after a week of inactivity, I wonder if anything would have been done. What was worse, the office stated that this delay was normal in this line of work because sometimes it rains(again, though no one ever spoke with me, the customer, until I was forced to come to their office). After all was said and done and they completed the job in a few days(disregarding my open house and showings that looked awful), my wife went to pay since I had to work, Fran stated she would take off the $ 60 processing fee — even though CJ stated he would get us a good discount because he knew that we were so obviously put out for as much money as we spent — but she didn’t even do that and we had to pay the remainder of our balance in full. Clearly, they care only about making wha tmoney they can, but they should not be trusted, especially considering the money they charge.
