Popeyes

I came here for lunch one day recently and everything was pretty good except they mixed up one of my sides but the side they gave me was good. I kept seeing advertisements about the $ 5 big box. It comes with two pieces of mixed chicken or 3 chicken tenders, 2 sides and a drink for an extra $ 1. I got a Spicy breast and leg, Cajun rice and red beans. They let me pick my pieces of chicken within reason, as the cashier said! I eat everything except thighs, I don’t like the way they look and how you have to break it apart to eat it. It makes me remember that it was once alive! Weird but that’s me!!! The cashier was friendly and was happy to be at work. Once I got to where I was going I realized they didn’t give me the Cajun rice, and gave me mashed potatoes and gravy instead. I didn’t have a problem with this side it was quite delicious. It was Cajun gravy with many spices. It was really flavorful!!! I will order it again. I will be back again for this special, the food was pretty good. can’t complain about anything except the side mix-​up but the flavor of the potatoes and gravy made up for it!!!

Slow disorganized service, dirty food prep area. Avoid this one in favor of Walton Way location.

Horrible horrible horrible! Seriously who works at the drive thru window!!! I swear I listen to a rap battle for 2 minutes before they asked me my order then caught an attitude when I said I was still reading the menu! Seriously!!! Never going back…

This place needs some serious updating. The cash registers didn’t work when I went in there so the employees are hand writing the orders. The order monitors were also down but in addition… The monitors are the crv old huge monitors.
despite their terrible working conditions, the employees remained professional and polite. Service was great. But come on Popeyes!!! You can do better! What is going on with your outdated technology!!! (See pics)

This place is great when you get hot fresh chicken and even better with the coupons they always have in the mail about every week. Today i had the 5 pc mixed chicken with 1 side and a biscuit for $ 5.49 and I also had a local coupon for a large drink for .99 cents. Service time was less than 5 minutes and chicken was smoking hot and red beans and rice was the side item and fresh as was the biscuit. Stop by with or without a coupon for a great meal event and a clean and newly remodeled store.

Was good. The drive thru line was a little slow but it was worth the wait. I don’t mind some Popeye’s now. I had the 3 piece chicken combo — SPICEY. Would I go again, most definitely.

This place is hit and miss at best. Sometimes the food and service is great, and then the next time you go it can be an awful experience, I have been there on two occasions where I just left because the service was too slow.
