I’m really impressed with the dog park! It’s very shady and well-kept. The park is obviously not responsible for this but the other owners are always nice and responsible. Great walking paths, a badass tank, and lovely gardens make this a real gem of a park.

This park is far more than a Bark Park. I have many fond memories of coming here as a child long before the existence of bark parks. Inside the park, there is a bark park for dogs, a disc golf course, playground areas for children, shaded picnic tables and more. There are nature walking paths, some of which leading to several beautiful segmented areas with flowers to enjoy. While this park is showing its age on some of the structures inside– the reasons we love parks are all there, and even more. I’ve posted some pics!

I supoose if it was clean the experince would have been better. Trash all over the children’s play area… empty solo cups.. Napkins. and empty bags… There are two separate play areas, we picked up the mess in one so that our children could play safely… Maybe I should bill the city for my services??? There was an overweight gentleman riding around on a golf cart. I presume he was on trash duty. I suppose this only consisted of him checking cans, because I watched him for a full hour ride around all this filth that was abundant in the play area. I see why it is called«Disgusta«. Stay classy Georgia…

Nice shaded dog park. I’ve seen better in other cities but like this one better than Evans. Just seems folks keep in cleaner. Evans was poopy-er. Plenty of trees, water, bags. And also park is part of big city park where you can just walk the dog on leash too. I take my pup here often. I see some dogs I’d prefer not to be there, meaning have some aggressive tendencies. But never had really issue and 95% of the time it’s awesome. I’m leery of dog parks in general and an over protective pup parent. It’s important to socialize your pets so overall I like this place.

This park is worth the drive from Evans, especially on a hot day when shade is necessary for your dog. It really differs from the other park in some terrific ways: fun training equipment for your dog, lots of trees, lots of woodchips instead of sand and cement, a little kiddie pool for the dogs to cool off and sit in, and plenty of seating all throughout the park for you. My dog loves this park and refuses to leave around the usual time she begs to go home which I take to be a good sign. There are usually a good crowd of friendly dogs of all ages and sizes and it’s so nice to have all that space for them to run and jump. I’d recommend bringing a towel in case your dog learns to dig from a new friend or take a dip in the kiddie pool. This park is run by volunteers from what I can see so after a few weeks of observation, I can honestly say people take more notice of their trash and dog’s movements here as there’s no one to clean up the park after them like the other park. Bring some spare grocery bags as there is no black bags available. 44⁄2014

This is a nice, big, and shady dog park however the fence is very short. And if you have a jumper like I do beware. Tons of squirrels so my dog hopped the fence without trouble. Only other thing I didn’t prefer was there was no grass. The twigs and such were no bueno to walk on in sandals.

I adore this dog park. It’s shady, spacious, the dogs are typically friendly, and the park setting is beautiful. Parking spaces right in front of the park are limited, but there are plenty of spots down the way.

Best dog park in the area. I’ve found the dogs to be less aggressive than at the Evans dog park. It is large, completely shaded and has lots of benches and some agility equipment. There is water for the dogs, sometimes a kiddie pool, and a separate small dog area. My only wish is that it were grassy instead of the dirt/wood chip covering it has now.
