NTB – National Tire & Battery

Costco wouldn’t install the tires they sold me online… :-/
While I was waiting for a refund, I called NTB and made an appointment for the following day. I showed up at 1:05pm for a 1pm appointment, and the car was taken back almost immediately. I drank a cup of coffee, checked a few emails, and it was done! Forty five minutes total maybe, drove back to work. I would have given five stars… but they over-​inflated the passenger side tires by about 10psi.

i would give zero stars if allowed. saw the sign for 19.99 oil change and tire rotation. i drive a standard chevrolet sedan. i left my car to have the oil changed and tires rotated. i always mark my rims on the front tires to make sure they really are rotated. when i arrived to pick my car up i noticed the marked rims were in the same place as i left it. when i asked the man at the counter about the tire rotation he said «of course we rotated them, see there is 2 signatures of servicemen noting they did the tires.» when i told him about the markings i left he walked into the bay to speak with the workers. once he returned, he said they did not rotate bc the tread on the front was better than the rear. i asked why he didn’t say that when i first asked about them being rotated? «i dunno» was his response. he then said the tread was better up front than the back. i told him i bought the tires about 15,000 miles ago and they have never been rotated. he then offered to rotate them if i wanted. i told him no. the reason i refused his offer is bc what if the worker tried to hurry the process, cross-​threaded the lug nuts and then i am left with the responsibility of any future issues with it. either this worker lied to my face on my initial question and tried to cover for his guys or the workers lied about doing their job. how do i know if my oil was done properly now? i don’t and cant tell bc i’m not knowledgeable of vehicles. no wonder people have issues with trusting mechanics. it is bc of people like this that lie and try to cover it up that i wont trust the workers at this ntb. but hey, what else can you expect for a $ 20 oil change and tire rotation?

Awful service. Made an appointment at 2 they didn’t start until 245 and there was only two other people there. They ended up taking near 3 hours for a simple oil change. They refused to honor a coupon that they had given me previously.
