This was my sole purpose for shopping this weekend. I still had gift cards from Christmas, my sister was still on leave from work and my Mom was in town. Sounds like a set-up for shopping. I’m a new Aunt and I beeline for the baby section is stores now. Weird? I know. So of course I entered JC Penney with the intention of spending all my gift card dough on my adorable niece. JC Penney has always been one of my favorite department stores. I never visit the store without purchasing something. The store is never too crowded a part from the holiday season. This is one of the department stores where I can roam without being bumped or bumping into another shopper. The department store chain recently started a revitalized its marketing/image. This was long overdue. The changes can now be seen in the store’s layout and overall atmosphere. This particular store made the image change upstairs first. It is bright, clean, very organized and gives a contemporary vibe. This change has yet to make it to the bottom level, which is the busiest. We found some great deals on home décor. The store had several holiday ornaments, cards, lights etc. for as low as .97 cent. My Mom racked up and I had no more gift card dough after getting my niece a few items in the baby section. My sister bought a bunch of décor for her classroom too. I like JC Penney! The staff is very helpful and jovial. They go above and beyond to help you find items. The store is very organized. I like to visit because it is easy to find the items you want. If this isn’t one of the department stores you frequent, stop by and take a look around. I don’t think you’ll leave empty handed.
