This place is THE BOMB. I called 2 minutes after they stopped delivering, but they delivered to my hotel room anyway! The buffalo soul rolls are NOT A GAME! Soooo good, and the lemon pepper wings are just the right amount of crunchy. I haven’t tried the red velvet cheesecake I ordered yet, but I hear it calling my name Everything, from the wings to the ranch dipping sauce is really REALLY good.
I live in Vegas, but I’ll be hitting up this place every time I come to Augusta

Today was the first I’d heard of Jackie M’s & Son. I had no clue what to expect, but after having stopped by for lunch I can say that this place is LEGIT. I had the spicy jerk chicken which I decided to eat on the fly – best decision I’ve made all year. The fries are so flavor full and their homemade ranch (and other sauces) are sure to lighten up your day. I also highly recommend getting some of their Soul Rolls – which remind me of a ‘down south’, soul food-​spin on an egg roll (it works so well. Trust me. I’m Asian.). I also highly recommend having a Designated driver if you dine-​in, because you will get the ‘itis’ and it’ll feel so worth it.

I went for dinner and got the philly cheese steak meal. The cheese steak was delicious and the fries were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Restaurant had a nice ambiance with unique seating, walls that were filled with local art, and vibrant music playing throughout. Service was friendly and efficient. This place has the added bonus of being a family owned restaurant which I prefer to support over chains.
One final note: I’d recommend getting the gut buster size for optimum meat/​bread ratio.

I tried this spot based off of Unilocal reviews, the people who run the place are awesome and super nice however the cheeseteaks I bought from there were lacking in size– there was more bread than meat and the gut buster should be categorized as a small. I really wanted to like this spot, if you’re looking for an authentic cheesesteak this isn’t the place but the rest of the menu might be ok.

We were in the mood for a PhillySteak, so being new to Augusta we turned to Unilocal.Sooo, the Philly meat was outstanding however the bread sucked in our opinion. We also tried the soul rolls, they were great and so too was the red velvet cheesecake. Service was very personal, it felt like we were visiting old friends for dinner. This spot is worth the trip if you are in the mood for good food and great service.

So happy I tried this place finally. I’ve had it saved for quite a while now. I was in the mood for a Philly cheese steak and it seriously hit the spot! You can change up the sandwich in all sorts of ways (chicken instead of steak, various toppings added/​substituted, etc.) but I just went with a regular steak one with mushrooms, onions and mayo. I wasn’t all that hungry and ordered the regular size expecting it to be a smaller size and it was more than enough! There were several things on the menu that I want to come back and try like the soul rolls, wings and Jamaican beef patties. I love finding little places like this that are off the beaten path. I know others have mentioned it on here before, but it’s awesome that they deliver! The only thing I will change next time when I come in is asking for the bread a little crispier, which is a personal preference. The bread was still good!

Excellent food and outstanding people! Family owned and operated and you will be able to tell. Called an order in for pick up. When I walked in to get my food, I was greeted with a smile and a very warm personality. Cooking was her son and coming out of the office was her husband. Just a wonderful family. I ordered a philly combo and soul roll. Glad I don’t live near or I would be 300lbs! I will be back and that’s a promise. Can’t wait to try more off the menu.

I love this place. Every time I can I go here. I absolutely love the soul rolls, especially the buffalo chicken. The cheesesteaks are so amazing, and they have the best fries!

I have eaten at Jackie M’s for several years. I worked for a business downtown in the medical district right across from GRU and Jackie M’s delivers. It was ordered A LOT with a wide variety of items ordered. The two favorites that I know of was the soul rolls (I got the cheese steak with the ranch dressing – omg good) and the red velvet cheese cake… very good food and wonderful people that work there… will be going to eat there very soon since I am no longer at that job!!!

This place is awesome. Super casual and a real family run restaurant. This was my first time coming here and I pretty much met the whole family. The kitchen sink cheesesteak was awesome. My wife had the buffalo chicken philly and that was also great. I want to come back to try their soul rolls. This is definitely my go to cheesesteak joint from now on. My only gripe is the extra charge for lettuce and tomato; but I understand why they do it.

First off I would like to let people know they DO deliver to Fort Gordon. I have been ordering from this restaurant for bout 7 weeks now. My go to is the Lemon Pepper Wings, Steak and Cheese Egg rolls with the cucumber sauce and the sweat tea. My friend usually orders the same thing but with red Kool Aid but she has also had the cheesesteaks and loves those as well. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! But call right when they open or you might have to wait longer to get your food!

I’m in town visiting and had a sudden craving for a Philly cheesesteak sandwich last night — my friend named two places — one of them Jackie M’s.
After reviewing both websites decided on Jackie M’s give the variety of sandwiches available.
The sandwich was delicious — Philly cheesesteak with american cheese, mushroom and jalepeno.
I really enjoyed the décor — a variety of acrylic paintings, drawings, pictures of graffiti in Philadelphia, and old books– first editions!
The owner also gave my friend a jazz cd — to feature what was playing in the restaurant.
Overall it was a nice visit and even better sandwich!
Will be back again !

Augusta has been kind to my wife and I in our short stay here and with Jackie M’s we had gone ³⁄₃ with regards to restaurants. The Phillys were excellent and in my limited experience the best I’ve tasted. The plain cheesecake my wife ordered with a strawberry topping was massive and immensely satisfying. The fries are exactly what you want out of fresh-​made fries. Add in kool-​aid and perfect sweet tea and the whole experience is as much as a good sandwich spot needs to be. Our favorite part though had to be the people running the place. The proprietors are so kind and welcoming, and when my hair gave away I was military they had nothing but kind things to say. They even give out a CD with some sweet tunes as a means of showing customer appreciation, and they had me at Stevie Wonder on track 1.
Can’t wait to come back and try the Soul Roll and the Red Velvet Cheesecake in particular.

If you blink, you’ll miss it. Jackie M’s Catering is located off the beaten path. I had to use my navigation to find it, but that’s not a bad thing. It was a great exploration for me. The space is small and quaint, but gives a real home feel. I ordered a Chicken Philly Sandwich. I got hooked up with a FREE cookie too for using my Unilocal app (winning).; Per usual, I got my food to-​go. The sandwich smelled so good while I was riding to my destination. I almost ate it while driving, but I didn’t want to spill anything. The Chicken Philly was so good. I got it without onions and peppers, but I still liked it a lot. Jackie M’s Catering has much more than hot sandwiches. They also deliver. There catering is also great. I’ve eaten it at an annual event they cater in October. Try ‘em out.

Best Philly cheesesteak in Augusta!!!
There’s nothing I love more than a good Philly cheesesteak. I’m relatively new to The Augusta area and decided that today was the day to search for a place to satisfy my cheesesteak craving. After a quick Google search, I found Jackie M’s and Sons. The mom and pop feel along with the smell of fresh baked bread made it feel like I had just walked into Mom’s kitchen. I ordered a simple cheesesteak (just cheese, onions, peppers) to go and made my way home. As soon as I sat down and opened the wrapper containing what can only be described as pure ecstasy to both my sense of sight and smell, I knew I had struck gold. The taste… Well, the taste is indescribable. You’ll definitely have to experience it for yourself.
The staff was super friendly and prices reasonable for the amount of food. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu which included wings, sandwiches, and some Jamaican cuisine.

Great food you all know and love at a real good price point. Not only that, but great customer service too!

Their customer service is ultimately what motivated me to write my review. It was no problem getting our missing cheesecake sent out to us. And I’m pretty sure they threw in an extra, too. Can’t remember what it was though.. .truth is I started drafting this review a LONG time ago. But they deserve the love!

If you are looking for a local place that offers something very different than all the chains around you might be interested in Jackie M’s. A family run operation that offers dining, delivery and catering services. They specialize in homemade Jamaican beef patties, philly style cheese steak or spicy jerk chicken sandwiches.
The staff is very friendly and it is fun to talk to the same people who came up with the recipes for what you’re about to try. We tried the jerk chicken sandwich, chicken Soul Roll, dragon’s breath wings and fries. The seasoned fries are homemade and nice and peppery. The wings had a good flavor but not too spicy. The jerk chicken sandwich has onions and peppers, American cheese like a philly cheese steak but has some nice peppery chicken on top that was quite tasty. My personal favorite was the Soul Roll which is onions, peppers, American cheese and chicken fried like an egg roll. Delicious. They also make their own Italian ices for those hot Georgia days.
