I am still a strong supporter of the CKO workout, and feel that the instructors do a great job. My main issue is this base’s lack of sympathy for the clients. When I joined, I questioned the protocol when moving, and was told it is never an issue as long as it’s 25+ miles away(reasonable). I am moving 1300 miles away, and approached the owners about putting my membership on hold until I can get a copy of a utility bill sent over(as it may take me a month or two). They blatantly refused and said they could not help me. I will be out of state and they will continue to take my membership fee when I literally physically cannot go to the gym! I am aware that they do have the capabilities to put memberships on hold if you are injured and cannot attend, so how is being OUTOFSTATE any different? I have worked with other local businesses before who were very compassionate and didn’t want to make the moving process harder, or be a financial burden. They truly showed that they care about their clients. For a local business to be so concerned with money that they essentially steal from their members is beyond me. I will not reccommend a membership to a friend in the future. Better off buying the classes in bulk and avoiding the drama. Seriously disappointed.
