Burrito was OK but the salsa taste like someone opened a can of tomatoes and poured in a bowl no taste whatsoever.

I will say, for this restaurant, they do have me coming back. The customer service I receive each time I visit is phenomenal. I love coming in and having conversations with the workers as though we are long time friends. The food is always great! When I get the spinach salad, it is always so much food I cannot finish it in one sitting. I’ve moved away from the area for school, so I will not be able to visit anymore. However, I cannot say I have ever had a bad or even average experience here, and definitely recommend it to everyone! I don’t think you will be disappointed.

So good! The staff is always so nice and the food is awesome! They are so much better than Moe’s. They do the same meal deal days as Moe’s(Monday– meals are less, Tuesday kids eat free etc.) so I will always go there instead!

Barberitos is definitely a regular stop for my family. I am a huge fan of Barberitos’ fresh grilled chicken and steak as well as all of their fresh topping choices including mango, cilantro and lime. The menu has many items to choose from including burritos, tacos & quesadillas. Tuesday night is kids night so if you’re looking to eat out with your children make a note. Food and service are outstanding but the restaurant could use a little TLC and cleanup.

We opened the door and the unpleasant odor of rotten or unwashed something was enough for us not to go in. Clean the place up!

Plain Americanized ‘tex-mex”. If this is what you seek these guys do an ok job at the task. Not great and not bad but pretty quick.

We didn’t even eat here because the food area was so dirty with stuff everywhere and disorganized that we decided to skip the risk of getting food poisoning.

Relatively new to Mexican food and the like but decided to give this place a chance. Thought I’d get a cheese steak burrito because I’m used to it at Mi Rancho. The steak was tough. The cheese sauce tasted like dirty dish water. While I was there, the guy making my order burnt someone’s nachos. The other staff were making food for themselves before clocking out(it was 30 minutes till 10). I took one bite when I got home and threw the burrito away. The ingredients looked old and overcooked. I’ll never be back. Off to McDonald’s I go.

Been a while since I have tried this place and it will be a while till I go back. It appears they have tried to somewhat re-invent themselves but it doesn’t work. Everything is flavorless. The chicken in the burrito no flavor, the toppings were limited and the fresh stuff was ok but the sour cream tasted watered down and the guacamole didn’t taste of anything. They did put a bunch of chips in the bag and that was the one highlight as they tasted great. I got all 3 of the salsas they had out and again they didn’t taste like anything! it was just plain bad. The only reason for the 2 stars is the people taking the orders were very nice and the chips were good but its not enough to bring me back.

This is one of my best places for nachos and I’m a junkie for them. To start off I get them loaded with ALLTHETOPPINGS because when im here we share them as a appetizer and sometimes we just have them as the main course. But jalapeños, onions, black beans you name it we load it up. The chip are warm and very crunchy as should be and Verde sauce is a must. When I need to have a great way to get a group of hungry people together and we’re in the mood for some Tex-Mex food this is one of my top five places to have some great nachos at. Stop in and enjoy…

They use fresh and local ingredients for their burritos and my favorite is their heavy D. The servers are very generous with the portion size and a heavy D easily lasts two meals for me. They also have unlimited chips and salsa. I really like their mango salsa, although I think it’s a summer special. I did notice this place is not as clean as it’s used to be. I agree with the other reviewers that this place is better than Moe’s. Will come back if I’m in the mood for some Tex-Mex food.

This is my go to place for burritos! Forget Moe’s! They pale in comparison! The ingredients here are fresh, the staff awesome, the chips made on site, and the cheese dip is so yummy. I recommend the Heavy D with chipotle sauce. So good!

Oh the horror! Ate there only one time where it was so good. Especially compared to other food in this area. Ate there two times after and the rice was undercooked and hard. Thought I would give it another shot a few months later and my husband and I both got food poisoning. A friend of ours told us a few days later he got it too on a different day.

This place is going down SERVICESUCKS. My favorite place to eat in augusta for years, I’ve been a loyal customer since their location in Daniels village. Lately I’ve been turned off by the cleanliness of the restaurant(especially the restrooms). GREATFOOD still my favorite just place, wish it was a little cleaner. Might be time for a makeover.

I have been to this place twice now and my experiences have been good. The first time I ate here, I had ordered the fatty burrito with steak. It is somewhat similar to Chipotle as far as how they operate and how you order your food. You tell them what you would like, and they ask what type of tortilla you want. I usually order the flour tortilla. Then you add whatever ingredients you want. The second time I went here, I had ordered the food to-go and it was quite busy. It was a Saturday evening so it was expected. I had to literally yell over the tall window that separates you from the server in order for him to hear me. I had ordered the hard shell tacos with steak. Bonus: If you are military, order a taco and you get the second for free with the purchase of a drink. Not bad eh? I was a little disappointed the second time I was here because they had ran out of the red salsa at the salsa bar. I do like their chips and we had ordered the white cheese as a side for the chips. Wow, that was really delicious! One thing I would suggest: If you order the hard shell tacos to-go, make sure they don’t sit around in your bag for too long. I came home and the shells were soggy. :-(It was still delicious though!

I agree with the other reviewer, it is better than Moe’s. The chips are cooked fresh, and very thin, and delicious. I usually get the guac salad with tofu, without the shell, and eat it with the chips. I usually can’t finish the whole thing.

Better than Moe’s, better than Chipotle. Yeah, I said it. Come at me. I am infinitely grateful to them for offering tofu. It’s well-seasoned & yummy and makes a world of difference in my burrito. Yay Barberito’s.

Much better than Moe’s. Their burritos are twice the size, and you still get free chips and unlimited salsa. (I personally love to get a fajita burrito with no rice or beans, add spicy chicken for my protein, put all of the toppings on it, asking for extra sour cream, and turn it into a Heavy D by adding guacamole. I then get even more sour cream as a side, and pile up on the free salsa. I love to just DRENCH my burrito bite by bite with the verde salsa and sour cream. Oh heavenly. A burrito that drips down your arm as you eat it is the best.) It’s a grimy, greasy little place, run by people who know their burritos! The customer service is fantastic, and they’ll let you know if adding a certain item to your order will change the pricing. My husband was really hungry, took one look at the churros and asked the cashier if they were fresh. He hesitated, and then offered to fry up some fresh ones for us right away. (Made sure to tip well for that little maneuver. The tip jar is by the cash register.) They were lovely and greasy and covered in sugar and cinnamon, and really hit the spot.(Normally that spot would have been hit by some horchata, but you can’t have everything!) We went around 6:00pm, and the line was unbelievably long. But seeing that everyone else was willing to wait patiently for their food, we decided to do the same. And boy are we glad that we did! Worth it! This place reminds me a lot of Roberto’s in Las Vegas. Another greasy little place that was perfect to go and get food from after a drunken night on the town.(It was within walking distance of the University campus, so I’m sure they got a lot of late-night college goers pining away for a big wet burrito.) Although in this case, you might want to plan on getting the food beforehand, and THEN getting drinks. Don’t want you drinking and driving after all! Anyway, Barberito’s is officially replacing Moe’s for us. I still pine away for Roberto’s, but for now, it seems that this is as close as I’m going to get.

Very much like a Moes. Their chipotle sauce is awesome and deals on Monday are great. Chips are fried fresh which is nice. The churro was greasy; like eating sugery grease, yuck. They didn’t let them set long enough to let the grease get soaked up before they put sugar on it. Better quality than taco bell and good price. Dining area very dusty. The napkin holder, promo sign, top of the booths all had the same amount of dust. The rafters were the most dusty looked like it had been months since those were cleaned. The A/C vents were gross as well. Overall I would probably get this to go and not dine in
