We saw the reviews that said the lobster roll here was better than the Red Barn. We thought we’d give it a try, even though the outdoor seating looked more like yard sale goods waiting to be taken away – in fact, we parked in the drive of nearby Savage Park to eat. This really is takeaway only. But the rolls were large, with flat sides grilled brown in butter. And more, as my wife exclaimed, «No lettuce; just lobster!»(I note that the lack of lettuce allows the lobster to cling to the sides of the roll, preventing or reducing unwanted spillover.) Overall, two rolls(with chips) and two sodas cost just over $ 35, but it was a marvelous sandwich. «That was worth waiting for,» says my wife.

Loaded lobster roll. Bun grilled with real butter. Better than The Red Barn! It’s a store so no place to sit and eat. But for $ 29.95 we got 27 inch loaded lobster rolls, a soda, and 2 little bags of chips. Other seafood for purchase as well. We will be back for sure!

The lobster rolls are enough for a five star rating. More of a seafood market than an actual restaurant… definitely will be coming back.

Yum! The lobster roll was incredibly fresh and delicious! This is not a restaurant — more of a seafood market that also sells lobster rolls, But we were driving through to Bar Harbor and just looking to grab a quick lunch, so it was perfect. The portion is very generous, definitely big enough to share. We also grabbed a beer to share — only 99 cents! The staff was also very friendly.

We were in Augusta and wanted a lobster roll for lunch. We ended up leaving with fresh salmon and fresh tuna for this week’s meals along with two lobster rolls for lunch. The lobster rolls were generous portions of delicious shredded claws and creamy sauce within a buttery toasted bun. We ate right at the picnic tables and thought we were in heaven. Unbelievably delicious. Best roll we have ever had!

Excellent lobster, cooked just right and packed in a foam cooler to keep them hot. Prices are on the high end. We also had their«very clean«steamers which had no sand and were very good. There were about a dozen that did not open in our 2 pound purchase.

Excellent lobster roll. Not a restaurant but a carry out seafood company. They arranged a few chairs and a snack table for us because the rain kept us from sitting outside at tables. No bathroom and had to go next door to the gas station.

Love them! Excellent service! I get my lobsters there often. If they steam them for you they pack them up really well! Always friendly!

We had our first lobster rolls there. We got SO spoiled! We’ve since had many, and these are the very best we’ve had, and at $ 15, a real bargain. Robert is very, very friendly. Too bad we live 2,000 miles away. If we lived closer we’d eat there often.

This is the best seafood I have ever had! Took home a couple pounds of lobster last night and made Lobster Scampi for 9 people — great hit for all. We hit this place a couple times a year, and bring home yumminess! It doesn’t get the reviews as often, I’m guessing, as I’m usually too full afterwards to jump on the net!
