People in Augusta don’t seem to have been bitten by the Unilocal bug yet, so let me be the first to write a review for Ashley’s massage therapy. I’m in town for a short 60-days and was looking to pamper myself since I’m living a hotel and more than a little bored. After a little Unilocaling(which resulted in almost no massage therapy reviews except for the«spa» up the street), I decided to take a chance an book a 90-minute massage through Ashley. Ashley and I booked the initial appointment via email and she was responsive to my inquiry(within a 24 hour window). The building is a renovated house that appears to have several massage/wellness/holistic therapists there. That threw me a bit on my first visit(the waiting room is the living room), but the house is always clean, there’s never a problem parking and Ashley’s room is as well appointed and as nice(and clean!) as any spa I’ve had a massage in. The only down side to the location is that it is on Western Ave, so you have a little road traffic noise, but usually after a few minutes into the massage, I completely forgot about it! Ashley discussed my preference in terms of type of massage with me(I thought I wanted deep tissue, but what I really wanted was sweedish/relaxation but just with more pressure). She provided exactly what I asked for in a massage and made me feel comfortable and very relaxed. I was only in Augusta for 60 days and had three 90-minute massages… that’s a testament to her abilities. Oh and her prices are pretty awesome too. I highly recommend.
