Wiz Wire is Wonderful! I had a virus on my computer and it was running slow and it had many other problems. I called some local (Auburn) computer repair places on a Saturday hoping to drop off my computer to get it fixed. No one was answering and I was anxious to get it fixed so I called the 800 number for an ad I saw in the yellow pages for Geeks on Site. For $ 149 they said they would fix all my computer problems remotely, within 3 – 6 hours. Well that turned out to be a nightmare. Long story short, they crashed my computer and said they would have to send a tech out later in the week. They called 45 minutes before the appointment and cancelled. Coincidentally, Wiz Wire called me back the same day the tech cancelled from the other place (from the message I left them on Saturday). He said he could fix it for $ 100. I brought it to him the next day and it was ready a week later. The price was actually $ 140 because they found 4 viruses and fixed the corrupted registries that Geeks on Site was responsible for corrupting. He said he worked on it for about 10 hours. The guy Jamie that fixed my computer said he was close to having to wipe out the whole computer and re-​installing everything. He’s only had to do that to 3 computers in his whole career there. Luckily, he was able to figure out everything and save all my photo’s, programs and my computer is exactly how it was (minus the problems) and it boots up quickly, runs faster and doesn’t have any of the problems that it used to. I highly recommend Wiz Wire to anyone. He was knowledgeable, reasonable and communicative. Luckily my credit card company reimbursed me the $ 149 that the crooks at Geeks on Site charged me.
