Untamed Salon and Spa

I’ve been a client of Jen’s at Untamed for 2 years now. Jen is the owner, and I can not sing her praises loudly enough! My hair is always fabulous, (as is hers BTW, which makes a client confident… you don’t want a hairdresser with a hot mess on her head). Jen’s product knowledge is amazing, and I always leave the salon looking and feeling like a million bucks! Prices are more than reasonable for the services /​expertise /​ambiance you get at Untamed, (if you want super cheap, go elsewhere, but your hair will suffer), and you often find specials on products and services there as well. The salon is fun and fresh looking, and everyone working there is friendly. I sent my best friend to visit Jen a while back and she’s now a regular too! Woohoo for hot hair and great service!

I brought A $ 65 Groupon (wash, Cut, condition, single process color) and it went here on a whim. I got a very lovely haircut, but unfortunately the color of my hair did not come out AT ALL all as I asked. I wanted plantain blonde (I had a photo) & they gave me blonde highlights & charged me an $ 25 for the extra labor. That alone was very irritating & since I know nothing about hair I just blindly agreed thinking they know what they are doing. But I should have stuck to my guns, & because of that I now need had to call them back & find out if they ll fix the mistake. The place was very nice & I liked my stylist otherwise.

I love it here! I had my hair cut and styled by Amy and she was awesome! She really took her time with me and paid very close attention to every detail, which made me feel like my hair was in good hands!

I am fairly new to the area and called around trying to get a haircut that day. They were very friendly and accommodating. My stylist did a great job, and I am happy with the results. They have an amazing rewards program, too. The salon is very pretty, too. Needless to say, I booked an appointment for highlights next month before I even left. Think I found my new place! :)

The majority of my experiences at Untamed Salon and Spa have been with Karen, I do want to mention my experiences with the entire business and all of its employees.
The business is clean and professionally maintained. I am always politely greeted whether I contact the business by phone or in-​person. I have been a client at the salon for as long as Karen has been there and I have had only positive experiences with the business and each of its employees.
I highly recommend Karen’s services. I have been a client of hers for the past three-​and-​a-​half years. She is a hardworking, compassionate person who works diligently to satisfy the demands and desires of her clients. Karen is well organized and reserves adequate time to satisfy the needs of her clients. In regards to my hairstyle, I have always been pleased with Karen’s work. She has provided me with suggestions of different ways to adjust my style; making changes only when I have been ready. It is important to note that I have liked the changes that Karen has made to my hairstyle throughout the years. I believe that she has done an exceptional job accommodating my needs and desires and she has been very receptive to my input throughout the entire process.
I have had positive experiences with each of the employees at Untamed Salon and Spa and I highly recommend Karen’s services.

The Local Deal lead me to try a massage here & I’m glad it did! I was assigned to Kevin for my treatment. He was polite & professional — much needed traits for a MT in my opinion. My hour went by so fast because I was so relaxed!
The salon is beautifully decorated & the ladies of the salon seem to be friendly. I did have to adjust my appointment times twice and they made all the new arrangements with a smile in their voices (it was over the phone so I couldn’t tell you if they were really smiling ;).
Great new salon! Happy to have had an Untamed experience!
