Tin Tin buffet is your typical buffet that has too many options therefore unless you get it fresh when it first comes out it becomes dry and loses its flavor. There were a few items like the thai chicken which were excellent but their general tso chicken was tough and rubbery. For the price the quality is what you would expect from a buffet style Chinese food restaurant. Would I go back? Probably not unless it is with family and then I just ride it out and have only the few things I know are good and flavorful. For some reason the staff always looks miserable when they are working and their smiles are so fake. If you plan to travel to this area look to your right before you walk in as Gippers is next door and their phone is GREAT!

Is this place still open? This place will make more come out than you put in. Squeeze those cheeks on the way out.

I have been to TinTin exactly once, which was once too many. The food quality is poor. I’m not sure how this place stays open. Stay Away!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Super low quality food that has been sitting out all day. Charge extra for drinks without telling you. You will get sick. I did. I will never go back. Much better places to go if you want Chinese food.

Awful — I’m tired of the cheap, poor-quality chinese buffets in Lewiston. My family and I used to come here quite a bit when they first opened. I remembered the joy on everyone’s faces — eating plate, upon plate, for a mere $ 10. If you respect yourself please avoid or try to choose healthier options. Most of the buffet dishes have been sitting out for long periods of time and are smothered in grease.

Tin Tin Buffet. It is everything you probably think it is. Run-of-the-mill, relatively unimpressive, mass-produced-for-a-buffet-to-feed-Americans-who-don’t-know-what-real-Chinese-tastes-like-anyway Chinese food. But it works. There are loads of options, including the standard go-to’s: general tso’s chicken, lo mein, spring rolls, etc. But then there are a whole lotta random things to, like: pizza, mashed potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, watermelon, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, baked salmon. It’s not exceptional food. You will not feel satisfied when you leave. But it’s cheap and it’s convenient, and on Monday afternoon’s it’s only $ 5. Seriously: $ 5 for a buffet. Yum(that was for the price, of course)!

Back in the day, this used to be the«Jade Fountain», and from what I hear, from relatives that used to actually work there, the kitchen was enough to make you throw up if you saw what was going on in there. Fast Foward past a fire and many years later, its now the«Tin Tin», I have no inside info on kitchen cleanliness these days, but giving benefit of doubt I will say: Very good and consistant buffet. The food tastes excellent, great variety, and the hosts do not seem as high strung and panicky like they do at some other chinese food establishments. They are very personable and you get to like them. I will choose this place any time I get the chance. Just hope they run a clean kitchen :)
