Our evening there was pleasant but not really satisfactory. Reservations were wrong on at least two tables we overheard patrons correcting. Funny thing as reservations were certainly not needed. Our Brochetta appi. was lovely and tasty but sauggy in the middle. Our tomato bisque was bland, Caesar salad was very pale green, lacking enough dressing for flavor and hid an overabundance of croutons which were dug out and set aside. The special, a seafood mix of shrimp, scallops and crab was very good but extremely small for $ 29.00, I would have been embarrassed to serve it due to the minute portion especially when it was served with the oversized chicken and penne type pasta which had too much pasta. It was like big and little served in same size bowls. Btw, I never found any crab! Maybe thats why our server never checked back on us. The pond and grounds are beautiful, however, the food does not live up to the caliber of the location. Not sure if there is a new chef as the manager, Sean, is gone as is the outstanding pastry chef, Sarah, who has moved on to Indy. This is a place you always want it to be good and give it another chance but just didn’t cut it that night.
To update the review from 2011, this is a great place. Can’t say it’s truly 5 stars, but certainly worthy of the town that produced the Dusenberg.

This is Auburn’s fine dining. They have a wonderful chief. The presentation is as good as any 5 star restaurant. This is Auburn best kept secret. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Probably the best place to eat in Auburn. Not located in the most convenient location on the Bridgewater golf course, but the views are very nice. It is a little more laid-back then some places, but the food is good. One of two places to get a decent dinner in Auburn better than a chain restaurant, and reasonably priced. Nice place to go Sunday for lunch or take some one out for dinner during the week.
