What a petty owner! I bought a holster on a Thursday, when I got it home and tried it with my concealed carry it did not work for me, it was very noticeable and not something I want to use for an everyday carry. I took the holster back on Saturday, still unused and in original package with receipt. The owner explains that they only do exchanges, but they had no other holsters for a Shield in stock so he essentially said «tough luck». How petty, I am new to the area and and avid gun enthusiast and they lost a customer for life over a $ 35 holster. I own a business myself and would never dream of flat-​out denying a return just because, it’s no wonder they are a tiny store that will never grow into anything substantial. Shame on you for such poor business ethics Sierra Gun Supply I will never give you my money nor recommend you to anybody.

I have been going to this gun shop on and off for over 15 years. My Dad took me there for paintball stuff and I have continued to go back many times. I’ve bought a couple shotguns there and am now in the market for a concealed carry pistol. I went in today and Dwayne was there (the owner) I told him that I was looking for a cc pistol and what his opinions were. Just like every other time I have been here, he gave me very good advice. He knows what he is talking about and doesn’t spend a lot of time with facts you don’t need. I may not buy every gun here but I definitely will when the time is right.

The guys in this shop are old school, a bit gruff but also friendly if you don’t act like an idiot. They’re fair, honest, knowledgeable and straightforward. Highly recommend if you’re not a jerk!

I had a horrible experience here when I went in for the first time. The man behind the counter treated my Brother-​in-​Law like an idiot when he asked what scope he would recommend for an AR. I will not tell you not to go here, but rather look around at other shops aswell

I always stop here when I come up from the Bay Area. They have a good selection of Bear Creek bullets, Black Powder, and other necessities. Better powder selection than anyplace in the Bay Area .Good folks!

First, I cannot refute any of the other negative comments. I have not used any of their services mentioned in most other reviews. What I can tell you is I had to get an FFL transfer from the east coast a number of years ago. Because of the crazy laws in the PRC, very few FFL holders were willing to do a transfer. Sierra Gun Supply was. Without them, I would not have my firearm. Thanks to them for doing that, when others wouldn’t.

I’ve been into this establishment several times and have been treated very well. They answered all my questions and offered advice which was helpful. I’ll continue to give them my business.

Word to the wise… never go to Sierra Gun Supply in Auburn. The owner is one of the biggest jerks and arrogant people I have ever met. He has product in stock but actually refused to show me because it was too much work for him to go over the actual powder and primers he had behind frosted glass. I asked to write down the numbers so I could confirm load data right there and make a purchase. I’m truly astounded that a small shop like that can stay in business in this customer service driven day in age…

Don’t bother, you will be wasting your time. over priced, $ 50 to transfer guns. no selection. bad phone manners. enough said already. just stay away.
