This store is disgusting. Much of the produce they sell is moldy already and the deli is infested with flies. Went to get ham one night and about 8 flies flew off the meat slicer. I quickly shouted never mind to the deli worker who didn’t seem bothered by it!

I started shopping at the Shaws in Auburn because I moved from the area in Milford where I usually shop. I go to Shaws for the great sales but I will be traveling a bit further to Worcester because of the customer service when checking out is awful, including the deli where NOBODY smiles, very cold enviornment. At least I get a smile from the floor employees. Twice my coupons were forgotten. The first time I went to the customer service desk and said to myself«things happen» but when it occurred the second time and the cashier blamed me for not giving the coupons to him in time, mind you I had to finish putting my food on the conveyor belt first, I had enough. He was down right rude when I asked about deducting my coupons. I can’t understand for the life of me why people work in the customer service field if you don’t like«people»??? Also, this store never has any of the sale items in frozen or dairy available. Example: I have been there on numerous occasions to grab the sales on yogurts and I have even gone as early as 10am and it’s NEVER in stock. I will continue to shop at Shaws, just not this one and when I shop it’s me, my mother and my daughter. So the store loses 3 customers from my experiences. It’s too bad the one in Webster closed down because the customer service was much better, maybe they should shut this one down and reopen that one :(I also need to mention that on my last visit to the store I made my grocery list based on the next week sale items, as the website shows both flyers. When I returned home I realized the error and called the store manager, ER, spoke with him and he said I could bring my receipt in so it could be adjusted, which I lost $ 19.78. I went back to the store and was told she could not do that, so I asked for the store manager with the initials on my receipt and explained I spoke to the manager already. She supposidly dialed for him and I was asked to go home and call him again to arrange a time to come back and see him, huh? I will not be back.

I stop here sometimes when I need to grab something quick. I always forget to check expiration dates and always get home with something expired. I’ve even had times when I’ve checked the dates and I can’t buy what I need because it’s already 6 months expired…

This has to be the smallest Shaw’s I’ve ever been to. I only stop here when it’s convenient to my other stops as the selection is more limited then Sturbridge and Webster where I usually visit. I will say that the store is always clean, and the aisles always clear.
