Disappointed… two high level stylists and still unable to get an a line bob:-(
Not to mention you pay $ 60 for the hair cut… I really wanted to find a good stylist… So far no luck.

Kayce is my stylist and is absolutely amazing! Living in NYC for 10 years and frequenting an upscale salon in Manhattan, my hair had become dry and over processed. Moving back home and discovering Salon Mogano and Kayce, my hair has never looked better! Kayce even styled my hair for my wedding two years ago and to this day, I still receive compliments on the styling. The salon is clean, relaxing, uses the best products, and their stylists are knowledgable and experienced. I will never trust anyone else with my hair and highly recommended them to others!

Elizabeth saved my hair! After a at home bleaching (never again) I was searching for a salon to fix my mistakes. During the consultation with Elizabeth she came up with a plan and committed to keeping my hair healthy while taking where I wanted it. The salon as a whole is beautifully decorated and has the most comfortable shampoo chairs I’ve ever sat in. I’ve gone to two appointments, scheduled my third and it’s all worth it. My hair is soft, shiny and a great color. They also sell bumble and bumble line that smells great and helps me get the same styling done at home. I’ve told everyone I know to go and see Elizabeth. I’ve gotten tons of complements, I’ll post the before (red) and after (blonde) on here so you can see the magic.

Made an appointment at this salon after reading all the great reviews. The online booking process was easy & I was happy to find they had extended hours that went later than most salons. I booked a haircut with Elizabeth who turned out to be the perfect choice. I told her I just wanted a trim & was trying to grow my hair out, she recommended a conditioning treatment & trimmed up the ends nicely. I will definitely be in to see her again! Affordable, friendly & quality service!

A bit overpriced for the service and very heavy on the up-​sell of their one and only product line Bumble and Bumble. It’s close to home so I might stick with them but if there is something comparable in the area I’d pass on this salon. Their ego is over inflated for what they are (a shopping center salon)

First time here last week… they squeezed me in last minute. Mandalynn was exceptional, listened very carefully to what I wanted and gave me good input, proceeded to work magic, then showed me how to replicate the style at home.
Friendly staff, clean, laid-​back environment… no snooty salon vibe here. The stylists are employees and the salon invests in their training with continuing education.
Love the products but never felt pressured to buy. Average upscale salon pricing and definitely worth it. They sent me home with generous samples and coupons. I’d go back even if it were much farther from where I live.

My first visit to Salon Mogano was definitely memorable! The atmosphere of the salon was very modern and upbeat. The receptionist was kind and knowledgeable about the services offered. My stylist was Liz and she was absolutely fabulous. She took the time to listen to EXACTLY what I wanted and did not fail to deliver. She was also just an extremely friendly person, we had great conversation and by the time I was leaving the salon I was genuinely glad to have met her! I am very thankful for the experience I had at Salon Mogano and applaud their customer service, it was hands down the best I’ve had yet, I have found my new salon.

I always come here for my hair services and when I don’t, I really regret it. Just visited on Saturday and had Molly cut and style my hair. This girl is amazing! Everyone is really good here but I really liked how she cut my hair!

Great place first time there and Amy did a great job on my color and I really had a great time clean and very professional! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great stylist and atmosphere

I had my hair done by a really friendly hair stylist (Laura) here during a bumble and bumble event. I was looking forward to returning to see that stylist and I made my appointment. I was forced to reschedule, but in doing so, my appointment was made with another stylist named Linda who I didn’t know. Even with that set back, I was willing to try a different stylist since the salon had seemed so great. It’s a bit of a drive for me, and the only time they were able to see me was at 4:15pm.The day of my appointment was raining pretty bad, and at 3:30 when I was on my way traffic was horrendous! I called the salon to inform them that I was most likely going to be late due to traffic but I was on my way. The girl Chirssy said, «Okay! that’s not a problem!»
If she had said anything else I would’ve turned around instead of continuing my drive.
I was stuck in traffic for a good 40 minutes on the 167. By the time I made it to my exit and was making my way up stewart Rd it was 4:30. I was 15 minutes late. The salon called me to say they were cancelling my appointment, even though I was right there turning into the parking lot. I was only going in for a trim! seriously? I was driving for over an hour to get there and they couldn’t accommodate me? According to Chrissy over the phone, Linda said she wouldn’t see me because I was late. I will never waste my time or gas on this place again. Warning to anyone else, if you call in to say you’re going to be late, do NOT believe them when they say it’s okay.

My experience with Salon Mogano has been good. Not exceptional, but still good, especially for such a small salon with relatively low prices. Definitely a great alternative to the generic haircut factory across the street.
I went to a couple of the stylists here and both of them were super nice and communicated well. The customer service was really good, it was always clean, and the atmosphere was nice. I also dig that they don’t push their products too hard. They gave me a free sample at my first haircut and I actually went back and bought a full bottle of it without them having to prod me at all. It was awesome.

I get my hair done by Mandelyn and she is awesome! She also does my 4 year old’s hair and is really great with her! I like the fact that you get first class service here at very reasonable rates!

Pretty cute little salon. Came in to get partial highlights touched up before I went baby mooning. She dried and parted my hair way off from where I showed her earlier. The lights were dim I couldn’t see well and I was tired so I didn’t inspect my hair. Plus it looked ok were it was parted.
The next morning I freaked out! Where she parted my hair it was fine but underneath it was bright orangey yellow! No wonder she covered it up by parting way off. I make an appointment to get it redone and I am running a few minutes late. I call and they say its ok. When I get there they tell me I’m late and she can’t take me. I had to come back after the baby moon, she put some toner in which kind of got rid of the brass color. Then she tells me that I can come back and she’ll put some more bleach in my hair. Now we all know she screwed up my hair and is now offering to fix it. I don’t think so! I’m pregnant, don’t need to come back 4 times to get my hair done right. These girls are young and have no experience. I’m not coming back. $ 100 spent on nothing

I am in love! I no longer have to drive from Lakeland Hills to University Village Gene Juarez because I have a new favorite stylist at Mogano… Victoria gave me the best cut and balyage and style I have ever had. And the prices, Bumble products, clean and gorgeous salon, location, etc are all amazing. Victoria showed me how to style my hair regardless if I showered at night, in the morning, not at all, quick up dos, etc. Such a great experience especially compared to GJ.

I am new to the area and picked this salon based on the good reviews. Good call. Amanda took a lot of time making sure I got what I needed and tips on up keep. I, definitely felt she had my best interest in mind. Just what I needed. Thanks much

When it comes to hair stylists, Kayce at Salon Mogano is the greatest! I have never been disappointed in the cuts, colors or wax jobs she’s done in the many years I’ve gone to her. Whenever I want something new, she carefully listens to my ideas, suggests some modifications and makes my hair look even more fabulous than I originally imagined! I even hired Kayce to do my up-​do for my wedding and I LOVED how beautiful and unique it was and, best of all, it stayed put for the entire day! I cannot speak enough about how much I love what she does to my hair, especially since she is super reasonable. I guess the word has gotten out, though, as I usually have to book at least 3 months in advance to get an appointment with her. If you’re someone that can plan early, make sure you schedule your appointment with Kayce– you will love her and her salon!

Amanda is amazing! I was stupid and dyed my blond hair black, and then tried to get it out by myself. bad job. Amanda fixed it, and no one would even know I was ever so dark. Her color job is the only one I’ve ever had (and I’ve been dying my hair monthly for 16 years) where I can’t even see my root grow-​out. She’s also great with cuts. I had to have layers to get rid of all the weight from the damaged hair. I have had layers before and NEVER liked them. Amanda’s cut is flattering and super fun to play with. I won’t go to anyone else now. She also does great natural nails up at Solei Day Spa in Lakeland Hills. d
