Round Table Pizza

These guys are trying harder. I had to up my rating. Much friendlier and community oriented. Way to go, guys!

Very disappointing service! Ordered online for pickup and was told a 45 minute wait. Showed up and asked if the pizza was ready after two other orders were told they weren’t even started. The cashier told us she’d check if it was ready after we paid. Turned out they didn’t even have our order in line to make!!! We were told it be at least 35 more minutes! That led us to ask for a refund which took at least 10 more minutes to get. This is the second time they didn’t make my order for pickup. Terrible customer service!!!

Went in for wings and as I waited, I realized there was not much hand washing going on. This is SO unfortunate because I won’t be ordering anything else from this location because of that. It’s simple. After you’re done handling cash and puttering around, you should wash your hands BEFORE handling the pizza dough, etc. Bleck… I did thank the girl who made my wings for washing her hands

Their pizza is supposedly gourmet and their prices reflect that. We got a large pizza tonight for a grand price of $ 25. It was not very good, was NOT gourmet, the thin crispy crust was rubbery!
Way over priced for the quality of the pizza. Probably will try Northridge next time.

For a small pizza and drink my bill came to $ 22.50. Absolute rip off and will never eat here again.

Two employees, Ben and Desireree are fantastic! Always helpful and make it a pleasure to visit for lunch. Prices are a bit steep, but when I requested coupons, Ben graciously handed out some for me to use. He gained a customer that day because if not for the coupons I may not have purchased the pizza! Good job, thanks

New owners: ok first the good… delivery to LOP and TV’s yay! Nightly specials are a good thing. Like the ½ off large pizza on Mondays. Now to the bad… the service, cleanliness and taste have all gone down hill. This restaurant has always employed teens and they’ve always been sticklers for training them to be friendly, helpful and professional. Now not so much. And no more uniforms? I think thats adding to the unprofessional vibe. Is there a new dough/​crust recipe? Tastes so bland now, like a Saltine cracker. It was never like that before. Toppings are also not as fresh or put on with as much care. Never have I had anyone come by and check on how everything is and fold the card on the table to indicate we’ve been checked on like they used to under old ownership. I would love to see a Kids Salad Bar price. $ 5.99 is too pricey for a salad bar for my kids when all they want in basically lettuce and ranch. I would also love to see some other side choices with the sandwiches. Back in the way olden days they would offer choice of potato salad, green salad, pasta salad or macaroni salad. And the sandwiches were so good! They had this veggie sandwich that was amazing! Now the sandwiches all come with plain Lays potato chips, like the ones from the sample bag that nobody ever wants. This restaurant used to be sparkling clean. Everyone I know who used to work here would attest to the amount of cleaning they’d do here. Any slow moment, they’d be cleaning. My sister worked here and would tell of the detailed cleaning they’d have to do. Now, I am definitely not seeing that level of clean. Sticky cups, stuff not stocked. The only one I see hustling and working with any gusto there is Portia. I think she’s a manager. And she is always friendly and professional with customers and the staff.

At the register I looked over the menu and ordered my pizza without cheese. I asked the cashier if there was any other dairy on the pizza. Nope. Fine. Waited. Waited some more. Waited way too long and at this point my four year old is bored silly. Finally the pizza arrived… with white sauce drizzled all over it. I wipe it off as best as I could and let my kid eat a bit of the crust so he’s not starving. I talk to manager and suggest that next time we come in he comp us a pizza I don’t have to wipe off to be able to nibble a bit of. NOPE. The only solution he offered to make things right was to remake the pizza right then and there. After we had already waited forever. There was no way my kid was going to be able to sit there and wait for another pizza to be made. I asked for a receipt (because the manager had taken it from our table when he first came out to talk to me) and the girl (was her name Reyna?) was straight up RUDE. Like I did something wrong? Hello… I was very clear about not wanting dairy on my pizza and they covered it with some dairy garlic concoction that was not even listed on the menu as part of the pizza. «We always do it that way.» Well, the menu listed every sauce and topping and that wasn’t on there, so… whatever. This place really needs to step up their game.

The new management has made this location worse. They fixed the signage and replaced ranch at the salad bar.
Unfortunately I invited friends to lunch for the buffet offered. Big mistake. We were asking for more pizza, including a vegetarian option as the were 4 slices of pizza left. An employee at the location informed me, that her manager told her, that they cannot make any more pizza unless they sold some more buffet admissions. She then continued to tell me that the manager informed her that they cannot make any pizza with more than two toppings for the lunch buffet and effort to save money. This has changed my opinion of the establishment. I then observed other customers asking for more pizza and being let down. It is off my list.

Really good pizza and excellent customer service. Needs more games. The employees are super helpful and friendly. The pizza is always good.

I think That Round Table is the best pizza parlor out there… bar none! I have had sub-​standard pizzas at other Round Table locations, but by those were few and far between, Round Table has been my ‘go-​to’ pizza parlor since 1968! Sure I have tried the others, but Round Table is still the best… at least IMHO.

Always good food and good service! We are never disappointed and eat here often. (Probably too often)

The pizza was great, the place is clean and the employees are friendly. My only complaint is that a supervisor was really rude to a new employee cleaning the back room as we were sitting down. She did nothing wrong, apologized to us for the tables not all being in place and explained a large party had just left. It did not bother us. It did bother us that her manager came out and asked her what her priority was. She answered CUSTOMER SERVICE. The manager corrected her and said no SEATING!
WOW! Nice to know were we stand as customers… His tone was degrading and inappropriate. It upset me and it was not directed at me so I know it really rattled the poor girl. You can have great food… But that was just wrong.

Softball night (what a surprise 4 this fam). So went to grab a pizza for the kids @ our local Round Table. You can imagine how much business we give this place with all of our teams that we coach…
Pepperoni pizza special is now $ 12.99. No prob-​its gone up a buck. Here’s something new, though. They WILL NOT honor the special if you order half cheese/​half pepperoni, the way we have done, well, forever. Are you joking? Manager who sees us ALL the time just stands right there watching the most ridiculous attempt of an explanation, to which she says nothing? Does nothing? I admit I walked out and I don’t plan on comin’ back, jack ;)

Granted, I was half laughing my butt off after the poor register employee tried to explain that they would need to add extra cheese to take the place of the absent pepperoni??? Eh? I had such a good chuckle that I was willing to drive the extra miles into town. Here, I got the same large ½ n ½ from Pizza Express for 11.99~HA! I’m truly one major supporter of staying small-​but quality customer service really rings my bell every time ;) FYI~Subway just added their sign down the road… and Northridge pizza is pretty tasty. Not to mention Big Bad Bel AIr Market and shopping complex is knoocking down our door in this community.
