Had a fun time enjoying great pizza and beer. Pete was a lot of fun and personable as was the bouncer and his twin brother. If you like good live music, a friendly staff, and a happy crowd, you’ll enjoy Pistol Pete’s. Will definitely go back if we find ourselves in the area for the night again.

Cheap drinks. Chill atmosphere. Wouldn’t mind hitting this up on a weekend. Try the IPA’s and local brews. Friendly staff. Nice games. Auburn’s finest for late night fun

You have to pay a $ 5 cover and it takes you over 15 mins to get a $ 5 beer, don’t even bother getting a cocktail, it will take half an hour. We went for a friend’s birthday and we left 20 mins later after all 7 of us were not being served.

Good spot to grab a drink and hang out a little dated and both times I was there some little kids where running around. But drinks are cheap and they have live music every once and a while

Service is terrible, bartender is rude, live music is always the same old, karaōke is dull. The only good thing about this place is the pizza, if you can get someone to acknowledge you and order it. Keep going back hoping it’s going to get better, but it doesn’t.

Service was terrible and so was the food. My son and I waited 15 minutes and was acknowledged by the bartender and owner, yet they didn’t offer to help us. We left, came back in 5 minutes later, say down again and still no one canned to help us. I had to go to the bar and ask for assistance. Pizza was dry and burnt.

Came to watch game 5 of the NBA finals and was pretty disappointed. No sound and college baseball on. When I asked the bartender to switch the game and please put on the sound I thought there would be no issue considering the rest of the customers at the bar got excited when the request went through. Then came the rest… tv switched back to college baseball after I already ordered my WARM beer. Guess the guy in the corner sipping on his water requested it be put back even though he was sitting in front of a different tv that had the baseball game already. Instead of trying to work something out with the rest of the people, the bartender proceeded to kiss the butt of the water drinker. Annoying!!! Guy must’ve been a regular. First time in, last time in.

Cannot believe how rude the bartender was to us. This our first time here and we are walking around trying out all the bars, this one we walk in and the bartender was immediately rude. Won’t ever be back.

Owner and bartender is cool, live music and karaōke is cool, pool tables cool, food isn’t figured out yet next door but go there because it’s a cool bar and not a dining establishment and you will have a frothy smile on your smug mug.

I’ve been going here’s on and off for the last few years and I’ve always loved it. I went to the rodeo after party dance a couple of years ago and that was one awesome event! Compared to what a small town like auburn had to offer, they are the best. Only complaint is the bathrooms. I know it’s a bar and all so they aren’t exactly gonna be super tidy especially on a weekend, but one of the women’s toilets always had problems flushing, and even on a week night when it was early, like 8pm, and not busy, it still kinda had that has station bathroom smell. But of course, when you go there, you’re not spending the entire time in the bathroom, LOL, so overall, it’s a great place.

great place to get drunk but as for going to listen to live music forget it. Sound man sucks and owner to worried about how loud it will be.

Great selection of beer and enough pool tables to have party. Good live bands too. Close to old town Auburn.

Bathrooms are horrible, but it is a bar, so what was I expecting. 5 pool tables, 6 TVs, 20 beers on draft. Good place to go in auburn if you want an activity and drinks. Live music was horrible the last time we went, but it isn’t always bad.

Weak draft beer, cold undercooked food, no heat, dim lights, yard sale tablet chairs. Other than that 1 bartender on a playoff game night w the 49ers. Playing. Come on already. Will never go back. Tried a few other times same thing.

Pistol Pete’s has been around a long while and was serving up craft beer, and a good selection of it, long before most bars even bothered to carry Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. There is always a wide assortment of beers from a diverse selection of brewers. You can occasionally find Pliny on tap, and they always have Auburn Alehouse beers available. They have great happy hours and specials, and all the best beers are part of the deals. The place is really a sports bar, and has a big section of pool tables. Bands play here regularly, and it is the destination for college kids returning home at Thanksgiving. The service is always very friendly, and while most of the food is essentially microwave snacks, they are cheap.

How can I review a place that has karaōke more than 2 nights per week? Friends and I stumbled here«Let’s go to the liquor store! We’re out of wine!» It’s raining. We walk four blocks«Where are we going?» and indeed, the liquor store is next door. But the bar is open. And on the way, we had gathered another friend. Oh, and the bar, on Monday, is having Karaōke night. Dear god. Help us all. I happen to be a karaōke Jedi. «There is no try, there is only do.» So guess who ended up taking shots and singing most of the night? To our credit, we rocked Journey, Tom Jones, Pat Benatar, and Bön Jovi. Rockin’ spot. Thank you Auburn for providing Pistol Pete’s. And to Pete’s: You were waaaaay more fun than the liquor store! Walked home, crashed out on couch, and nursed a well-earned hangover the next morning.

I love love love going to Pete’s Tuesday thru Thursday because they have karaōke! The system is awesome, with 2 screens. They also just put in a pizza place… which allows you to order pizza til 2am. There’s nothing better than having a few drinks, singing a few songs & eating a few slices of pizza with close friends. Hilights of their staff are Joyce(Bartender) & Rick(Karaōke jockey). Both are super nice, and sometimes you catch a glimpse of Pete walking thru with a huge smile.

Pistol Pete’s is a decent option for night-time fun. I was in this weekend and it wasn’t stupid-crowded. The drink specials were good(and by all reports, frequent) and the visiting band was actually highly entertaining. the pool tables were all Bogart-ed by sharks, but the darts seemed to have some good openings for epic one-on-one action. now i said that it wasn’t all that crowded, but this place could really stand to be more heavily frequented. I think i would come here more often if i found myself in the area. not a good place to man-hunt.
