When I moved to Auburn in 1985 I stumbled into Mountain Mama’s on one of those days feeling unattractive. Judy (the owner) handed me a couple of garments. I tried them on and I felt transformed. It was almost miraculous how good I felt about the way I looked. Judy’s has a knack to gage clothes that fit your body and brings out a new attitude. Thank you Judy for your commitment to fashion and creating the stylishly eclectic women in our community.

Absolutely fabulous collection of clothing, accessories, shoes, and jewelry! A variety of styles from classic to whimsical. Some items are a little pricey but all very high quality merchandise. Very pleasant staff that knows when to help and when to hang back. It would be a great place for a makeover or just to treat yourself!

I must say that initially I never went in to this store. I walked by dozens of times because the name ‘mountain mama’ brought me to a place of patchouli oil and incense. However, I went in to check it out and found myself leaving a MAJOR fan. They carry super fun brands, like Free People and some others! They carry fashion for women from their twenties to their sixties and more! Believe me, I am a girl that love rhinestones and hot pink… so those of you looking for a new boutique… Mountain Mama’s wont disappoint!
