Mountain Air Heating and Cooling

I have used Mountain Air several times throughout the years and have to say Chris’ customer service goes above and beyond every time. Not only is Chris a genuinely nice guy he can explain a problem in simple language and give a recommendation that is best for his customers not just the most expensive option. I would recommend him to anyone!

I have just found my new HVAC guy for the rest of my life… our system was tripping breakers and another company recommended a $ 4000 compressor replacement. Chris came out and found that the breakers aluminum wires were loose. and did I mention he came out same day within an hour of my a call. Like I said this guy will get my business as long as I’m in this area.

Chris is great! We are dealing with our home warranty and their contractor, getting taken for a ride the last two summer’s; we’ve replaced the thermostat and other parts without ever really fixing the problem. Chris has made two house calls and dug deeper than the previous contractor. He did a full diagnostic and explained what he believed the problem in a language I could understand. He took his time to isolate the problem and was very thorough. I would gladly recommend him to my own grandmother!

I have had Chris out to my house a few times. As a contractor myself, I appreciate his honesty, integrity and fair pricing. I would highly recommend him.

Mtn Air was great. came out same day, found the problem (ants) within 5 min. Thoroughly cleaned out unit, replaced part and charge was reasonable. Friendly and I felt very comfortable having him (Chris) in my home. Call them first! My first call went to a company that couldn’t make it here same day.

Awesome speedy repair service. Great communication, showed up on time twice, and Chris even mentioned I had the know how to buy the part myself and install it to save some money. Ive had horrible experiences with some of the most popular local companies and he shined.

Our A/​C stopped working at 6:30 Saturday night. We tried to troubleshoot the issue ourselves, and by 8:30 figured out we couldn’t fix it. This particular Saturday temp had topped out at 108 degrees, and the day was slow to cool off, still over 90 degrees at 8:30 p.m. I desperately searched the internet looking for someone who could come out ASAP. I called Chris at Mountain Air and left a voicemail. He texted me shortly later because he was unsure if it was too late to call. I texted back and we agreed he would call me first thing Sunday morning. True to his word, Chris called at 9:01 Sunday morning and came out the same day to fix our air conditioner. His price was extremely reasonable, and well within the range he quoted me over the phone. Chris was very pleasant to work with, courteous and on time. I also believe he operates with a very high level of integrity, as I asked him many questions about other repairs or service we might need, and he responded with reasons why we wouldn’t need those things! How refreshing! I also need to add that Chris was more immediately available than the websites that offered 24 hour service! Those sites had no appointments until Wednesday, and Chris was out on a Sunday. I highly recommend Chris and Mountain Air.

We called Chris on Saturday morning during the hottest part of the year (on short notice) and he showed up a couple hours later and thoroughly explained all about the unit, what the problems were, how to avoid problems in the future, and then quickly fixed the unit without a hint of pushy sales stuff.
Chris was really personable and went above and beyond and even fixed a rattle noise in our AC unit. I am so glad we called him because now we have a heating/​AC guy. Good people like Chris can be hard to find.
