I had the worst experience when it comes to customer service here. I booked one one of the conference rooms for a baby shower a month before I would need it. The baby shower was planned to be on 10/3/2015.I paid for it with CASH200.00.unfortunately I was unable to continue with the baby shower so I called to see if I could get my money back the answer was yes as long as I come a week before the date I had set to use the room so that’s what I did only to get the there to find out I could not get my money back in cash but corporate would have to send me a check in the mail; at this point nothing making sense I had my receipt and everything to show I paid cash. So I give the manager my information so I could receive the check 3 weeks pass by no check I call to see what the problem is the manager Stormy had to call me back to tell me the fax machine was down so therefore corporate never received the refund request. I was told again I should receive my money back. I still have not gotten my money back to this date and nobody is returning my calls. This is bad business when I did everything they asked of me only to be lied to so its like I donated $ 200 to someone at this business. I did nothing wrong to deserve this treatment. I will not do business with this ever again… God bless

Hotel was better than I expected in design and the staff was really great. What ruined it for us was the coffee– the milk was constantly sour and the staff just kept saying«yeah, it sits out so long»… Gross! Also, there weren’t knobs on the a/c. We later found there was a wall unit but a little note to say«use wall thermostat» would have been nice. We would stay there again if we were in the area. And I would bring my own milk.

I’ve just read some of the reviews and it’s true about the price during game day. WAREAGLE! However, expect higher rates any where on a game day. Our experience was a clean room, good AC system, courteous Staff each of the four days we stayed. I’d say the complementary breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had: a selection of milk(skim to whole milk and soy), cereals, yummy mini omelet, buttery biscuits, variety of toasts, buttery cinnamon rolls, hash browns, fruits, juices and of course coffee and tea. I most definitely stay again & recommend to anyone. Family friendly!

Not all HIEs are created equal. We stayed here based on a great experience in Apopka FL. Big mistake. This was a less-than experience at a more-than price. Rate was 71% more expensive, hotel was 80% shabbier. Cracked floor tiles and peeling wallpaper in bathroom, pool and lobby closed for renovation, $ 149 per night. Really??? If we weren’t desperate for sleep at 2 a.m. after too much driving we would have moved on.

Car broke down and was towed to this Holiday Inn. Not realizing it was game day, they said a room would be $ 300. Asked nicely if I could have a 5 minutes in their lobby to call around and see if I could get the funding, was told no I had to leave. Asked again and the clerk called ‘security’ to escort me off the property, it was also raining outside. Thanks for not giving me 5 minutes out of the rain to see how I could pay your ridiculous room price. Lost a potentially paying customer to RUDENESS for life. Ended up taking a taxi to Opelika.

This place is by far one of my favorite Holiday Inns I have stayed in yet. Quick check inns, clean rooms, happy hour, the girls that work the desk are amazing I would recommend this to anyone I seen.

This is absolutely the best hotel we could have stumbled upon anywhere! The staff was extra friendly. They had the best hospitality it’s hard to even describe. They had warm cookies upon our arrival and a party for their manager do gy invited all guests to munchie foods and drinks. It was very welcoming. The room was perfect. Very clean and big. No noise at all. Very pleasant night. Woke up to a newspaper under our door and a big continental breakfast waiting for us downstairs. Hands down, best hotel I be stayed in in a long time!!!
