My nephew got married here and it was a lovely outdoor wedding. Only one thing went wrong. As they were exchanging vows, a train went by and the idiot conductor saw what was going on and did a «choo-choo-choo-choo-choo — CHOO-CHOO!!! AREYOUEFFINGKIDDINGME? He absolutely RUINED the brides vows and I felt so bad for her. I’ll never forget that so if you get married here, make sure that you know the schedule of when the train comes by, it’s super loud and can ruin your ceremony.

Just finished DJ’ing a wedding at Headquarter House in Auburn and I want to compliment their entire staff for doing such a great job on the event! This particular wedding was challenging because the couple had so many different things going on. The ceremony was outside surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. A cocktail hour was provided on the lower deck area as the bride and groom were taking pictures with their families. Then the reception was moved indoors with both floors being filled with laughter and guests. After dinner, as a special gift, they had a live band playing on the decks while people danced the night away. I was, and still am, amazed at the efficiancy of everyone at Headquarter House. Thank you Cheryl and the rest of the staff for a great experience DJ’ing at Headquearter House! I hope to be back again soon!!! DJ Greg A Special Request DJ

Nice outdoor location for a small wedding. The grounds are nice but that’s because the location is set up on the hill in the trees. Management SUCKS… It’s a family owned business that needs a few lessons in manners. The husband yelled at our wedding party and said IMTHEOWNERANDYOUCANTDOTHAT… Even after getting permission from the wedding organizer«wife». When you go to see this location you will be pleased by first impressions. Keep in mind they don’t have your money yet and will continue to be sincere untill they do. I would avoid this location not only due to the trains, but once they have your money the customer service stops. Don’t expect anything back after your wedding she will find a way to keep your deposit.

Nice wedding venue on beautiful grounds. Normally a place of this stature and quality would rate at least 4 stars. Only trouble is: those darn choo-choo trains that keep on passing by their location on an hourly basis. Can’t tell you the number of times that a late Amtrak train(or a freight) came whooshing thru the tracks, only a few hundred feet from the wedding ceremony. Because of this little flaw, I cannot recommend for wedding ceremony but its still a nice place INDOORS for small to large banquets and receptions up to 80 persons. Outdoors, they can handle more people(up to 200) but those darn trains.
