Hair Expressions

I came in here on a Saturday because I wanted a cheap haircut, and my mom (I know, I know, I’m a big kid now!) lives out west, and did I mention I needed a haircut. It’s only $ 10, and it looked pretty nice! The layers were nice, the shape looked good, and I still looked like me, but slightly less hairy and better put-​together. Angela, my hair specialist was really nice, and worked fast. At first, I wasn’t sure she cut enough (mainly because I always make my mom cut it super short to last until her next visit), but when I got home and styled it my way (i.e. washed and blow-​dried it), it looked really good! Angela did ask me if I wanted a shampoo or just a wet cut, and I opted for the latter because I always get weirded out by someone else washing my hair — in fact, I have been know to wash my hair before a cut just so no one else does it. I know, I’m strange, but I know good deals, and Hair Expressions is a great deal. It’s no frills, but they do a good job, and for a great price. I would definitely go back again.

I came here for a walk-​in haircut, because the line was too long across the street at Rob Roy.
My haircut came out fine, but I definitely left with an impression that the girl who cut my hair was in a rush.
The haircut was $ 10, but there were other options. You could get a shampoo and cut for $ 16, styled for $ 18 (maybe that’s gel)? This might sound crazy, but they could offer those things and it wouldn’t hurt.
I don’t mind paying for a shampoo, i enjoy it actually! But she was so silent.
She never showed me the back of my head, and when i gave her a $ 20, she gave me $ 10 back. I had to ask, can i have $ 5 and 5 $ 1’s so I can tip you?
I was underwhelmed. I know, this is a bit whiney, but what can I say?

A friend of mine used them to style our hair for her wedding and they did a great job! They were really understanding and very helpful with what we wanted done. Some of us had some issues with our makeup being too heavy, but it might have been to make the pictures look nicer. Otherwise, I really think they did well for our group.
