Forest Lake Christian School

I had all four of my children graduate from Forest Lake. Now I have a grandson there in the 2^nd grade. I have nothing but the highest regard for the board of directors, the staff, and especially the founders, Mr. & Mrs. Schoellerman. They are committed to providing the best possible Christian education they can, but even more, they are committed to seeing the young people have saving faith in Jesus Christ.

As a parent who has had five of her six children attend with two graduating from forest lake school I have nothing but the heist marks for this Christian based school. We cam from our church based school which had problems that were unresolvable and had a fantastic 8 years at the school. Unfortunately we have had to make other plans this year because my husband lost his job two years ago and we lost our daughter to suicide at 21. The school does not offer finical assistance as it is self sustaining by tuition only. My children were devastated to leave the only school they have ever known. One who entered 6^th grade this year and the other entering 5^th. We will miss our school but God must have another plan for us. God bless forest lake!!!

This school has a lot going for it. I guarantee your child will receive a Christian education here, surrounded by lots of peers supported by devoted parents.
In my few hours here, I met a mother about to commute to San Francisco for work, her husband staying home to take care of the kids. One young woman was being brought at least 30 miles one way to attend school and participate on the soccer team.
Another student was motivated to plan, direct and assemble an Easter 2011 Stations of the Cross installation. If I were a youth and walked the path, I’d seriously examine my personal beliefs. This adult learned that not only are anorexia and bulemia rampant in our youth, that dysfunctional psychological behavior, cutting, is beginning to catch up. Not only was I shocked, I worry for some of today’s youth resorting to cutting to find emotion. I call it an installation because it was as good or better than many I’ve seen in art museums. I suspect that student can have her choice of higher education institutions. Part of the installation was a student art exhibit, showing me that as other schools abandon the arts, it is well supported here.
The buildings are large and modern, the grounds spacious and well-​maintained, with a northwest vista across the Forest Lake community.
This is a local bastion of K-​12 Christian Education.
