Out of nowhere my car begins to jerk and a loud banging noise is hear coming from the front of my car (I am on my way to work and no where near my «usual» repair shop) so I pull into the closest auto repair shop I can find, they tell me they can’t help me till the end of the week but not to drive my car… I pull into another repair shop and hear sorry our bays are full. I am ready to loose my mind because I know nothing about cars and need to be at work now. I pull into DT Automotive, right near the shop I just left… I am ready to have a breakdown at this point, thinking my car is going to need thousands in work. I was greeted by the nicest lady possible when I come in so of course I break down crying, I couldn’t hold it in any longer, she gives me a moment and during that time Paul comes from the back and takes my keys, he takes my car in right away… after about 15 minutes I have composed myself, Paul came over to let me know that it is a simple fix and not to worry, he said he can take care of it. Not only did he take car of it but he made it so I could drive my car to work that morning and come back the following day AFTER work when THEY were CLOSED to do the work since I have to work when they are open.
I am amazed at the honesty and compassion this repair shop has… it was just 6 bolts that were missing, (BUT it was very insafe for me to be driving it) it was a very cheap fix, he could have made up any problem and I would have believed it since I know nothing about cars.
I highly recommend this place as they have now made a repeat customer out of me!!!
