I hate this gas station so much and the only reason I use it is because it is the closest one to my house. The pumps never work, the workers are rude and could care less.

This is the closest place to get good coffee. Note, I said «good» coffee. You can always stop off at one of the thousands of bikini barista stands or even the 4 Bigfoot Java places, or you can go to McDonalds, Jack in the Box, Burger King, etc. There’s at least four Starbucks locations. But those aren’t good coffee, at least not in my opinion.
The gals here keep the location clean and efficient. There are several options for Seattle’s Best Coffee, and this is where they shine: if they don’t have what you want brewed and ready, they’ll often just give you a cup of whatever else for free or discount. If they’re out the creamer you want, same thing. If there’s grounds in it, same thing. If it isn’t hot, same thing. Ultimately, they want to do whatever’s necessary to make sure you’re satisfied, and this is how customer service is done. You do have to watch out in the earlier morning — one of the gals doesn’t brew the coffee correctly sometimes.
It can get obscenely busy in the mornings. It’s not construction workers, it’s lawn care contractors, mostly. You’ve seen them, I’m sure. One of them works for me, this is how I know. They’re constantly filling up gas because they’re driving all over the upscale areas cutting lawns. They’re all nice — though they smell a bit «ripe» — and you won’t ever feel like your safety is at risk.
Anyway, this location is also shared with a Jack in the Box, complete with drive through. It’s like most JITB locations, except that the early shift cooks tend to undercook eggs, and it takes them three times as long to cook them properly for some reason.
Note that the QuickMile is NOT open 24 hours, you can get gas at all times, but you can’t go inside the store past a certain hour. That’s a bit of a downer, since 7-​Eleven can do it, and I knocked off a star for that.

As far as Gas stations go, it doesn’t get much better than this. They keep this location stocked well and its rare that they do not have what you came for.
The prices are comparable to most gas station. The fuel here is worth the extra pennies to avoid ampm. They even take Safeway club cards for a discount on fuel.
This particular location has plenty of space and lots of pumps to choose from. The garbages are kept clean and the window cleaner is usually pretty full.
I would avoid going in the morning during the weekday if possible. The construction guys take up most the lot. Other than that it is a one of the best locations in Auburn to fuel up.
