My mother and I had heard about this salon from her other clients — so I guess you could say we were introduced to this lovely little oasis of tranquility just off of busy Grass Valley Highway (49) by word of mouth. There is no shortage of massage therapists and aesthetitians in the greater Sacramento area where we live but still, we drove to Auburn and in the end, we definitely felt it was worth the drive. We selected the 1 hr relaxation massage treatment which concentrated on the head, neck, shoulders and feet. Katarina is from Europe where she received some of her training and she has been adding to this training throughout her whole life. It becomes obvious almost immediately that she is skilled (technically) but more than that, she is also very sensitive to the special needs of a client. My mother is almost 92 years old– suffice it to say that at the end of the treatment my mother kissed both of Katarina’s hands saying «hands of gold» — enough said– that said it all — we will definitely go back.
