I love it out here. It’s so pretty and clean. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. They are dog friendly too. I always bring my pup.

I live about 3 miles from the club and can hear the shots on the weekend. I became a member before I even shot. I have shot before at other places but never at this place. So, I signed up in Dec. of 2015 and it took about a month before I could get there to shoot. When I did get a chance, I was a definite NOOB and never shot trap… only sporting clay’s. Greg(board member) saw that I was a little confused and came over and gave me assistance. We went to another trap area and he coached me on the proper technique and gave me tips to make it enjoyable. Since I am in the market for a shotgun, I don’t have one I rented(FREE) a pump action(that is all they have). It worked flawlessly(with the exception of a light strike… reengaged the shell with the pump and shot without issue. The staff(all volunteer) are amazing from the day I signed up… one of the guys took me around and showed me everything and explained what«5 stand» was. Explained a little about the different shotguns and price range. Since I haven’t shot many places, ATC is great and for me, it is local. I was able to shoot 2 rounds(50 shells) in about 2 hours. With the spring time coming up, I will be there probably on the weekends. Prices for shells are reasonable… about a $ 1.00 more(member price) than Bass Pro Shop, but the convenience is a great plus, with that $ 1 extra, you are supporting a 100% volunteer staff. Overall, it is just a real nice, unpretentious place. When it is cold outside, they have a log burning stove going and it is nice a warm. There isn’t snacks there or a wide selection of drinks(soda, water… NOALCOHOL), so if you are planning on being there for a awhile, bring some food and drinks. Most of all, have fun!

I had three friends coming up from the Bay Area and we decided to abandon the wives and go shooting. We needed several loaner shotguns and they were happy to provide them for free PLUS they gave us a free lesson on trap shooting. This was great as several in the group had never shot before. Chris our instructor was awsome. We had a great time. It was decided that this will now be a guy tradition whenever they come up to Auburn. Thanks ATSC.

I was visiting the area and since I am a shooter, I wanted to try a new trap shooting facility. This was a pleasant experience. First the scenery is great. As mentioned in another review, it is like a park. nice trees around. Plenty of parking and also really nice set up with sitting bench behind shooting line and tree shades while you wait. There is also a covered area with table and seats. 4 trap houses, one patterning board, and another set up, maybe 5 stand. Second, the staff is really friendly and supportive. If you have question, problem, or anything else, they are here to help you. Another great thing for beginner shooter: the club offers free shooting lesson and(december 2013) loan shotgun for free, which I think it is really nice. The staff is composed of great shooter, so if you need advice just ask and they will give you some tips to improve your shooting. Last but not least, the people who shoot are really nice too. Every time I went there was always a couple of families with young shooters. Bottom line a great place to shoot with a bunch of nice people. Definitely recommend trying it.

I guess if its close its OK. But if you shoot ATA or PITA, Your register birds would be spent better else ware. Mico’s don’t work, To many breaks on called birds. The house’s are sending out angled birds. If its you and a couple friends going out to shot GO. If you take Trap shooting series and shoot for state & national ranking. FORGET.

Amazing place! Wish they were open a little later because we would go a bunch in the evening when its a little cooler. The people that run this place are super nice and very good at what they do. I have been to many ranges and clubs but these people by far are the best. Very good at answering any questions, I was shocked when the range master asked me questions about my gun then went into the history and even value. Its a old hand me down but after our talk it will start being hard cased when transported. I could go on forever about how clean the place and the bathrooms were but theres no need, go see for yourself, you will be impressed!

These guys are amazingly supportive of young shooters. This includes Boy Scout troops trying to earn badges, young girls and boys wanting to try out shooting, high schoolers interested in competing. The people at this faciility are friendly, welcoming, supportive and just plain nice. I wish more people knew about this little gem. Some kids just aren’t turned on by sports such as soccer and basketball and this sport provides an awesome alternative.

If you are an avid shooter and need something more exciting try the wobble trap. Five stand is fun as well.

I went here today with some friends and had the best time. Only one of the three of us had been trap shooting before. We were all kind of rusty on shooting a shot gun(this was my first time) so Steve, a volunteer took us out and showed us the ropes. He was extremely patient with us and gave us step by step instructions and stayed with us the entire time to make sure we were comfortable. There were quite a few people out shooting. We ended up spending some time chatting with other shooters and everyone was just very helpful and friendly. The best part about this place is that they loan you their guns for free! They also supply ear muffs and shotgun shell bags for you to use at no charge. This was the cheapest fun I’ve had in a long time. The cost was $ 6 for the clay pigeons and $ 7 for a box of shells. The grounds are really pretty and park like. As soon as my shoulder recovers, I’m heading back! They are open Thursday evenings, Saturdays from 9 – 3 and Sundays from 10 – 3.
