Auburn Performing Arts Center

We bought Groupon tickets to see the Nutcracker here this year. The Groupon page told me that my tickets would be available at the Will Call desk. Well, when we got there it wasn’t very clear where a Will Call desk was, and then when we did find someone to ask, the lady practically yelled at me about not printing the Groupon page. She actually told me «well everybody else prints their groupons» (well excuse me for not being just like everybody else. Maybe that information could have been printed on the Groupon Offer? I never print them for anything because I like to save paper!)
Then (AFTER checking HER paper guest list, and FINDING my name on there) she started harassing me about whether or not i had ANYTHING i could look up the Groupon on, such as a smart phone. I don’t know why the hell she needed me to look it up if she had already verified that my name was on the list? Plus the way she said it was very belittling — it was like she was making fun of me for not having the ability to look it up (I actually did have a smart phone with me, but it was a new phone that didn’t have the Groupon App loaded yet. I could have spent half an hour downloading it, logging in, and looking for the damn thing, but the show was starting in about 2 minutes and she already knew i was on the list)!
I doubt I will bother going here again. I was hoping for a fun night out, not a run-​in with a rude lady who wanted to make fun of me and tell me how i should organize my life. Customer service clearly isn’t a top priority here.
Also the parking lot was completely full by the time we got there. We didn’t see anything about overflow parking, and had to find street parking in the neighborhood.

Nice venue for local theater, plays and events for the community.
Nice stadium seating with what appears to be a great seat for any location.
Newer feel which offers a cozy space. Good size parking, but can be a mess after seeing a event, so patience is needed.

Went here about 2 weeks ago to see the Nutcracker Ballet.
I wasn’t expecting much from looking at the outside. It looked like it was going to be in the high school gym. Instead they have a very large auditorium & stage. It was quite pleasant.
Exiting the parking lot can be very difficult. Signs say right turn only. I think this only applies to daytime hours when students are leaving the parking lot.
