I stayed with my friends for one night and they gave us a 100 $ fine for smoking when we didn’t. The manager was rude. Breakfast here is free but grimy. The bathroom was not clean and the beds had small stains everywhere. I would definitely recommend a stay here if it was your last choice.

Absolutely the best of the budget hotels in auburn. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and super friendly staff. All that you’d expect for breakfast, including good eggs and the do it yourself waffles. I’d recommend asking for an «interior» room instead of one facing the parking lot, but we didn’t have a problem with noise. This was the Comfort Inn, by the way. They’re doing some upgrades, apparently, with the rebranding.

Arrived shortly after my check in time to be told I had to wait an hour because of some difficulties they were having after a couple of hours on the road to get to Auburn for a conference. Was not even sent an email to be told that they changed from the comfort Inn to asara, so my wife and I drove around quite a bit looking for a comfort Inn that wasn’t there. Would have been fine with the late check in had the gentlemen up front even tried to make things right with some proper customer service, but he clearly didn’t care about our inconvenience. Never been this pissed off about a hotel visit before even checking into the hotel. Considering getting a refund and checking into the motel 6 next door, because I bet they would at least pretend to care about my trouble. Addition after staying one night: our room smelled of old spice when walking in, the WiFi doesn’t reach our room, and our towels had weird red stains on them. I pray to God that it was Kool aid.
