Shawn’s Barber Shop

Im glad we found this unique shop. I loved that Shawn did an amazing job on the cut for my boyfriend for a wedding. And for someone who never had grown his hair before and got his cut for the first time it looked great. Shawn took his time to perfect it and also made our experience a personal one. he treated us like we’ve been going there for years even and not just another customer coming through the door. even though it was our first time there from out of town our experience was great and as far as pricing goes for the person who wrote that $ 20 was pricey above. I will say that its a great price seeing as in other places, that doesn’t even cover the full price of a cut for men in cities.

Best place to get a hair cut in all of Atwater maybe even Merced. Shawn and Tony aim to please. They are easy to communicate with, they understand what you want and they will give you exactly what you asked for. They are truly professionals and will guide you in choosing the right haircut if you are unsure of what you want. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. They have music, tv and magazines to entertain yourself with as well as great friendly personalities. Their place is clean and family friendly, I have seen mothers take their little boys in to get a haircut. They know how to treat a woman with respect and lisen to what they want for their kid. As far as the lil boy haircut they do great work and the kids always leave with a lollipop. Their price ranges from $ 15 — $ 20 but its well worth it. Since I have started going there, I have tried other spots in winton, atwater and merced and I still ended up going back to shaw’s and I highly doubt I will try going anywhere else again.

Really nice and unique location. Barbers are easy to communicate with. Only negative was the haircut and getting my beard lined up was $ 20. I’m really happy with the way it came out though so it’s not that big of a deal but it could detract some. Also they seem like people who would give you a discount if you’re a returning customer, just real down to earth people.
