Atwater Aloha Flower Shop

My Grandmother passed away a few weeks ago, before she passed she requested pink roses surround her urn. My daughter and I live in Merced so we checked some flower shops in the area, but we couldn’t find anything that really «spoke» to us and no one seemed to want to take the time to really talk to us to see our vision. We were in Atwater ordering her urn and marker at Affordable Markers (also highly recommended) when we came across Atwater Aloha Flower Shop. As soon as we entered the store we knew we were in the right place. The refrigerator section was filled with beautiful, original flower arrangements. If that didn’t sell us on this place the gentleman working the front of the store did. During such a sad time for us he showed such compassion and managed to make us smile during one of our darkest times.
We decided on a couple of arrangements that day. The first the arrangement of pink roses to surround the urn, the second was a heart, also with pink roses and other flowers, because my grandma was and will always be the heart of our family. The gentleman asked his daughter to come out from the back so we could explain what we wanted, without hesitation she was confident she could do the arrangements we picked. We ordered the flowers and left there feeling so pleased with our choice.
Funeral day came, we arrived at the church to the most gorgeous pink rose arrangement surrounding the urn, along with this spectacular heart with «Mayma» written across the pink ribbon sash. We could not have asked for either one to be any more perfect!
We will be returning to order flowers as Thank you’s for people that helped us during this difficult time, as well as all of our future flower needs.
The flowers, the service and the prices are FANTASTIC!

I had to send flowers to a family member who just had a precious lil baby boy. My local florist couldn’t deliver so farrrr away so i asked for a recommendation. They told me about this place!
When I called, i could tell right away that they were not only very professional but also very nice. I knew i was in good hands. It was easy to place the order. Piece o cake!
Fast forward to that evening when i get a call from my sister. She la la loved the flowers!
I am very happy to know that i have a flower shop there that i can trust and use.

Aloha floral& gifts is the best floral shop countywide and has all the pop figures you can think of don’t even get me started on how amazing the purses are this little local shop is so friendly and I love it and for anyone looking for lotion he sells naked been which is the best lotion

This place really worked a miracle for me just before my wedding. I live in Austin and couldn’t get to California, where I was having my wedding, until a week before the actual date. I walked into the shop and both Patty and the owner of the shop were very willing to help me out.

Love this shop! Sarah is so awesome! So helpful and not at all pushy. I ordered my flowers for my wedding here. I was on a budget and she worked with me and made suggestions and REALLY LISTENED to what i wanted and helped me stay in budget. Everything was so much more beautiful than i ever imagined. This is the place to go!

did this woman really tell me to call around because my grandma dying was too short of notice? yes she did! my grandmother passed on a Sunday, in which this place is closed. so I called Monday morning, to order flowers for the next day (viewing was Tuesday evening at 7). I was told they’d have to substitute a few things and I said money wasn’t an issue so long as it didn’t look cheap. I was then rudely told «you know maybe you should just call around cause it IS a little short notice» WOW if anything was short notice it was my grandmother passing away, but hey I’ll take my $ 300 and buy at a chain store. #1 reason why small businesses fail! they are called SYMPATHY arrangements for a reason!

I called to order flowers for my mom last Friday. I told them that my mom has allergies. I was assured that they
would prepare a beautiful basket of wild flowers. My mom said that the flowers were not only gorgeous, but they were barely fragrant. They did not aggravate her allergies at all. I recommend Aloha because they were friendly and they did a fabulous job!
