Ive loved this place for the past decade, the food is always delicious. It can be super busy and expect a wait. Also its not not cheap any more, me and my 6 year old went today and for a stand breakfast for us with tip ran $ 29.

The food is delicious and the waitstaff is great. The only issue is incorrect wait times. More than once have they quoted«15−20» minutes and it ends up being an hour. Just be prepared to wait longer than what you’re told.

This place does breakfast, and does it well. They have specials on a chalkboard and you can also add them to one of the combo plates. I’ve been here a few times and there is always a wait of at least 20 minutes, so plan ahead! Locally roast coffee, local beef and eggs. This probably is the reason why the prices are a little higher, but I like being able to support multiple local businesses at once.

Very standard breakfast food. The place is small(about 10 tables) and somewhat noisy and crowded on a weekend. I sat at the counter and people constantly brushed up against my back on their way to the waiting area which is in the back. Everything tasted good, especially the local coffee, but my pancakes came out about 10 minutes later than the rest of our food after we had practically finished eating. $ 35 total for two people — a chain restaurant would have been cheaper and more enjoyable for breakfast.

This is the best breakfast place in the Attleboro area that I have been to. I went last week and ordered the Florentine Benedict and a single chocolate chip pancake. Everything was delicious! The eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was delicious. The pancake was huge and fluffy and moist. Not rubbery like some breakfast places I have been. The homefries were my least favorite part of the meal, but still had a nice bold flavor. I wasn’t disappointed. I plan to go back again soon!

Totally average. I was excited to try this place since Groupon led me to their site, with information about the owner/chef and his commitment to locally sourced food and creative menu items. I was expecting something special. In the end, my egg was slightly greasy, the home fries were packaged potatoes(too regular shapes to be otherwise) and were completely bland, and the pancakes were too sweet. Not one thing served to justify the half hour wait. To top it off, I paid a $ 2 surcharge for what was supposed to be local maple syrup — that came in a jar saying it was from California. I have pure maple syrup from Massachusetts in my pantry! At least the coffee was decent. No reason for me to drive from RI for this place. Again, not bad, but completely unmemorable.

I have noticed a vast improvement in the food the past year, maybe a more attentive cook? Great variety of specials. We are loyal customers now on a first name basis with the kind and funny family waitstaff. They know our drinks and have them ready by the time you sit down. Still pricey(hey it’s locally sourced products!) so would be nice to have a «half portion» or kid menu. Worth every penny.

My first time here. I got the Breakfast Skillet with Dufort Farms Italian sausage, kale, home fries and 3 poached eggs on top. This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I am a foodie so that is saying a lot. Locally roasted coffee and a friendly, attentive staff make it worth the trip from wherever you are. They just brought us 216oz. Coffees to go, no charge. Seriously, the best place ever!

My husband and I often have breakfast at this amazing little family-owned restaurant. Their banana foster French bread tastes amazing. They always have specials that taste great and the service staff is very friendly.

We had the resistance’s breakfast dish. Beef hash with green peppers and onions. Three eggs with toast and home fries. Everything was good, the service was quick and the local coffee was good. We would definitely go back and try the other breakfast dishes.

Cozy place inside with good breakfast. Have only been once but it seems to be a place where regulars go. The specials board looked good, although we didn’t try any. Solid corned beef hash and french toast. Staff were friendly.

I’ve been to this place a handful of times, mostly because it’s the closest to my house. The food is really good I just think it’s very over priced for breakfast. They offer groupons a lot which helps but for three people a breakfast bill of $ 55 is insane. Their coffee is decent for being a small local company and in the summer they source a lot of their ingredients from farms in the area which I love! I have never had a bad service experience here, all the ladies are attentive and lovely!

I have never written a review before, but this place, hands down, has the best French toast I’ve ever had. Now that may not seem like much, but French toast is my only choice when I got out to eat. I’ve had it at more places than I can count. But The Breakfast Place is the first time in my entire life I ever filled up and couldn’t finish an order of French toast. It’s three full slices of toast and is always cooked to perfection. My girlfriend couldn’t stop raving about the skillet plate she ordered. And after convincing me to take a bite, I had to agree. Definitely worth the $ 14 price. The place itself is a little on the smaller side, but I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. The service is always top notch and the servers even know their regulars orders. I can’t wait to come back here again and again. Just hope I can find a spot to park as it shares a lot with a couple other stores.

The Breakfast Place is one of those hidden gems that will never lose its charm. It is literally a hole in the wall and you’d never think anything spectacular would come out of this place just by looking at the exterior. What you find inside is a warm crew of employees and a specials board that never ceases to amaze. I never bother looking at the classic menu because the specials board boasts amazing dishes that really outdo anything on the laminate list. From s’mores pancakes and sweet strawberry cream cheese stuffed French toast to local grass-fed beef benedicts and bacon tomato avocado cave-aged cheddar omelettes, the chalkboard specials are hard to choose from! The local ingredients(and coffee!) make such a difference in the food and they even offer gluten-free selections that are far from boring. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been at least 15 times!

Update: The cinnamon bun roll pancakes are scrumdidliumptious. They’re glazed and have cinnamon filling. They’re also the size of your plate so I recommend splitting an order or maybe just order one unless you’re a hippo.

Nothing to say that hasn’t been said. Eggs, produce, meat and coffee are all local, gluten free options cooked on a separate grill, delicious food, and good portions. If you want to wait in your car for a table to clear, you can give them your phone number and they will call you when one is ready. Free wi-fi. Only downsides are it’s rather small, but it’s a breakfast place so I’m not going to take away a star for that– it’s something that’s expected. The stools are also a little uncomfortable(large coutner space though) but again, that’s typical of a diner/breakfast joint. There is no excuse to be going to IHop in Attleboro if you live here. None. Unless you like burnt coffee and bland food, but to each their own.

A great amazing small local place serving the freshest locally grown food. It will get busy fast on a weekend but I feel it is worth the wait. Staff is super friendly and on top of everything and every request you make. Refills come before you even have to ask for them. There uncured bacon is some the best I have had in awhile. So crispy and great tasting. Ham isn’t salty and don’t need a gallon of water to drink like other places. The tomato eggs Benedict with uncured bacon in a herb sauce is great. Plus they don’t drown it in the sauce like other places do. Overall it’s a cute small wonderful breakfast place that is worth every dollar. Oh and speaking of dollars there prices are fairly reasonable and cheap for local products.
